Amazing! This solid wood, beautifully made cane is no where to be found in the marketplace except here. It’s much more sturdy feeling under your hand than the lightweight metal canes. It feels much more stable, which is the whole purpose of a cane. My favorite part is the handgrip. I can’t stand the rounded “loop” end that most canes have. I’ve never understood the ergonomics of that. The smooth, well finished handgrip fits a human hand perfectly. It’s perfection! Plus, it’s really expensive looking because of the superb workmanship. (Love that this is made in the Ukraine. I’m grateful that I have a small way of supporting them.)

Had a little accident and broke several bones in my left foot. According to the doc, a cane will be a good idea even after the bones heal. So I decided if I'm gonna be on the gimpy side, I'm at least going to do it with style. Though the price of this cane was considerably higher than most, I can now attest that -- da-yum -- it was SO worth it! The craftsmanship is evident from the moment you take the cane from the carefully-packed box. In a word, it is beautiful! It feels super-solid in the hand and the weight, while not exactly "heavy," is definitely substantial; it inspires confidence. Also, I'm not a violent guy, but this thing would work about as well as a baseball bat with regard to self-defense. It's that formidable. The handle is meticulously crafted and fits my hand like I was born with it there. The finish is impeccable and the brass band is a thing of beauty. Seriously, everything about this cane just screams quality and brilliant design. I bought a slightly longer one than I thought I might need and cut it down to size (removing about an inch) with a miter box saw. The rubber foot was a tiny bit difficult to remove, but that has to be the case in order to keep it in place during heavy usage. It's also nice that they sent along a second rubber foot and a wrist strap, though I'm not using that at the moment. I got the deep cherry red finish on mine and it looks GREAT. I've been using mine for the past week or two and can attest that it works about as well as one could hope for. It feels like a natural extension of my arm and provides all the support I'll (hopefully) ever need. If you're looking for the best cane for any money, look no further. You're not going to find anything better. This thing is essentially perfect, and that's not a word I use often.

This is a beautiful handmade wooden cane. It is solid and offers the assurance of good support. I went with the redwood color and it looks so much better than the cheap metal canes. You can even personalize it with a different color ring at the handle's base; there are also options for the wrist strap too. My husband cut off 1-½" and it fits me perfectly. A benefit for me, it does not make metallic clicking when it touches the floor. I am very pleased with this high quality cane.

I was very impressed with the quality of the cane. The finish is beautiful and it seems very sturdy. I'm 300 lbs and it feels very stable. I've dropped it a few times and had no chips or blemishes in the finish. Would definitely recommend. Well worth the price.

I was using a hand carved bulb (rounded) handle cane. It was hard on my hand. I purchased this Asterom cane and it is worth every penny. The best feature is the handle. It fits my hand comfortably and it is very sturdy. It comes with an extra tip and and strap. I would highly recommend this product if you want a high quality, comfortable and long lasting cane.

5-stars for this cane. It is well crafted, and a sturdy support. The ergonomically carved handle fits my medium-sized left hand quite well, is comfortable, and it’s a great design. The 37” length is appropriate for my 6’-0” frame. I highly recommend this cane for walking and steadying. A great bonus to this purchase is supporting a family business in Ukraine. 1-star for Amazon handling. The cane arrived in an Amazon box, inside wrapped in a foam sleeve in plastic. Removal from the packaging displayed a gash in the wood shaft. In this gash is embedded a piece of the foam, still clinging to the wood fibers (see photo). This is not manufacturing damage; this is from mishandling the product, most likely from the Amazon person that boxed it. Update: I sent an email to Asterom regarding the scarred cane shaft. Oleg Asterom immediately responded. He said he would send a new shaft to me, and personally inspect it prior to shipping. True to his word, the replacement cane shaft arrived in pristine condition in about 10 days (from Ukraine, no less). This company, Asterom, and its business ethics are first rate. There are precious few companies in the present world that are forthright and have integrity such as this. I highly recommend their products and their service!

The cane is beautifully crafted. I love the look of the handle and cherry color. After reading several reviews about the handle chipping, I decided to apply coats of enamal to protect the cane. I highly doubt the cane is made with oak. I needed to cut a few inches off the shaft for proper length. The wood is soft and cuts easily. Oak is a hard wood. However I am still satisfied with the cane. It looks beautiful and feels strong.

The two Asterom canes I ordered through Amazon are of exceptional quality. They are stylishly made & are clearly durable. In fact they are such lovely quality that I will only use them indoors to keep them in mint condition. It's an honour to purchase handmade items from Ukraine. Glory To Ukraine

Like the solid feel and construction. Finish is beautiful. Wrist strap a nice extra when fumbling for other things and don't want to drop cane. It felt good when I discovered it says it is hand made in a country that has a proud tradition in workmanship, and needs support. Expect it will be a legacy item.

Chegou bem antes do prazo. Embalagem ótima. Produto cumpre o que promete. Esperava um pouco mais do cabo.
