Works great but you need a tripod and patience to focus, manual focus. For the price it's a great deal and very sturdy

There's no way I'm going to spend $300+ on actual telephoto lens capable of autofocus (with many of the good ones in the $3k-10k range). Yes, you will have to do nearly everything yourself with these lens. ISO, zooming, focusing, nearly everything manual. My main use case for this was to take full moon photos and to one day get the uncommon lunar eclipses from time to time. It doesn't appear that it will be able to take pictures of large planets, like jupiter and saturn, but I will for sure try to when they pass by the hemisphere. I would also recommend a heavy tripod and a remote shutter because you will need all the stability you can get.

Surprisingly good for the money. Isn't intended for photo but rather for observation . I took him for looking at the moon and the sun (with filter ofc.) Lens are good but not apochromatic. Focus is decent and looks sturdy enough. Overall , worth the money.

Works great, steep learning curve if you have never used a manual lens before. No major complaints just use a sturdy tripod and remote and you can take insanely far photos.
