It was a replacement for my previous lancing device pen and it does what I would expect it to do. Easy to load the lance and easy to use, with several settings easily adjusted by twisting the top cap portion.

Lancet never reaches the skin, as the spring appears to be too short.

I like the fact that this pen has 2 caps. 1 f or finger the other fot ralternate blood sampling sight. It's not at fit for mt accu-check lancets. Pen doesn't hold them in place securely. but adding the cap allows stme to use them, and only allows the sharp tip to protrude through hole. Always produces a good drop to test.Pleased with product.
