it’s nice for beginners definitely, but sometimes the blade slips out of it because the clip to hold the blade slips. my boyfriend really likes how you can replace the blade for a close shave every time. he doesn’t have very sensitive skin, but (just to make sure) sometimes i’ll shave him and look really close and it doesn’t seem to bother his face at all. then again, i’m more gentle than him, so just be gentle with yourself the first time you use it.

Very close shave or cut my line up nice and crisp would definitely recommend if your cutting hair or want that old school style shave

I recently lost my straight razor that I’ve used for over a decade. I set out to Amazon for a replacement. I started with a $10 option, but found it to be cheap quality. The razor doesn’t stay in place—it moves, so you end up with one side sticking out and the other caving in. I don’t think that’s intended functionality. So, I replaced it with one of these for double the price and a brand name. It is the same exact device in a different color with a different logo. Same issues. In fact, it amazes me that this could have 4.5 stars when THE RAZOR DOESN'T EVEN CLOSE ALL THE WAY! That’s just nuts to me. I didn’t read reviews before ordering, so perhaps this is noted elsewhere, but that’s just sad. I’ll be returning both and getting one from Parker which seems to resemble my old and reliable razor.

I like the straight edge razor, though I never received the 10 extra blades that was said to be included. So now I'll have to purchase extra... otherwise it looks nice :)

Looking for a straight razor with a light and easy handle look no further. The replacement blades are great and make for a smooth and simple shave. Just take your time, you are holding a knife 2 inches from your eyes.
