Comparable to wool of the andes but lighter and just a little thinner but not by much. Soft for wool. (100% wool is always somewhat scratchy) this though is very soft. Very easy to knit with and has good stitch definition. Is a very good value for the money. Already bought another pack.

I saw this was a little thinner than 4 weight. I doubled it up and it was perfect. I made a beanie and a very long scarf for a friend who moved to Alaska. It is pretty soft and didn't make me ir. Initial impressions was it was rough but that went away when using it. Not itchy to wear.

Not especially soft or as fine as advertised. It's more like worsted weight. Fairly even. I'm hoping it'll soften up when I felt it (washing).

Good thickness, definitely on the light side of worsted/4 weight but not quite a 3. Yes it had a few knot/ breaks in the skeins but most yarns do. It probably averaged one break every skein. It held together and was a pleasure to work with. Crocheted up with beautiful stitch definition and sweater is lightweight and 'springy'

Peach color is very Pretty and delicate. Soft enough to make hats for cancer patient's.

Ugh! I finished half of a large cardigan and ordered another six pack of this yarn in the same color “Storm Sea” but the batch is a very different shade. The first batch was blue and the new batch is green.

Liked the color, exactly what I was looking for. The wool is very forgiving when you make crochet mistakes.
