I checked out the square with my engineering squares and had no problems. The metric scal on it is clear and accurate but my one gripe (common with most speed squares) is that the notches below the measures are still imperial notches (half inch apart) and not metric.Still, I rarely, if ever, use this function, so it isn’t a show stopper.Good speed square
