Very well made, works a treat.
After looking at some of the reviews i decided to avoid the cheaper versions and i'm glad i did. This unit is more of a professional version hence the higher price. So far its worked really well, in fact i can't fault it. It has a 10 litre capacity, very handy as the Range Rover i used it on first has a nine and a half litre capacity sump. The only thing wrong? I should have bought this years ago.

Great product
Does what it says on the tin. Easy to use, easy to empty. But the price is way to high for what it is compared to the competition. Identical product by different manufacturer was £100 cheaper and works just as well. Build quality was the same, just the price was far more reasonable.....would have purchased had I been able to find it easily on line. Poor advertising. But, can't fault the product....glad I bought it, makes oil changes quick, easy and no mess afterwards.

Needs ten stars, not five!
I can't recommend this Oil Extractor highly enough - it needs ten stars, not five. Amazing bit of kit. With warm oil, and a fair amount of pumping, this tool hauled out eight or so litres of oil (OK, my Discovery 2 TD5 was a leeeeetle overfilled) with little trouble at all (just a fair amount of pumping, was all) in about ten to fifteen minutes (I wasn't hurrying). No mess, no fuss, job done. Even emptying it was easy. I'm impressed.

It works!
Well, I bought this extractor because I have some rudimentary knowledge of car mechanics and for some time ago I was looking for a machine to be able to make these oil changes in my garage with greater convenience - without taking the motor protection and without having to crawl underneath the car, I have a Mercedes-Benz 200D - W124 and it is quite low.Other pneumatic devices similar to this one, the "professional" ones that are used by mechanics, are larger and are very expensive. When I found this one I was excited because it was really what I wanted and was at a reasonable price (with free shipping to Portugal).I received the unit yesterday and, obviously, I started testing the machine! The unit is constructed in plastic, but seems to be durable and rugged for occasional use.First surprise: The instruction manual is only one page, half of which for stamps ... to understand the functioning of the device you have to look at the photos on the box and guess the rest ...Second surprise: there is no piece to adapt the compressed air hose - solution: I took it from an old compressed airgun that was damaged, put it on the extractor and connected it to the compressor unit. The accessories (except a little one) have sufficient length and width to be introduced in the dipstick tube of the engine (mine is 2000cc).Third surprise: to operate in pneumatic mode just open the blue tap / valve to let in the compressed air but, unlike the "professional" devices, during the operation the extractor must always be connected to the compressor.I have not tried the manual mode. The operation was well conducted in "Pneumatic" (lasts longer than the "professional" devices) and, after several minutes, there was nearly 7 liters in the tank! My car engine is advised to take 6 liters of oil, but because I like to have the level in "maximum" so it can be that there was nearly 7 litres inside, so I think that the extractor sucked all the oil.I think the product is good but does not deserve 5 stars because:- the lack of the part to connecting it to the compressed air hose,- it lacks of a better description of the vendor and,- the manual is not sufficient to instruct you about the proper operation and maintenance procedures.

Easy and clean oil removal
Great product. Makes changing oil clean, easy and quick. My Range Rover had a dedicated oil suction removal tube so even easier. Spout on inlet/outlet means it’s easy to pour the used oil into a container. Expensive but I would say it’s worth it especially if you have a number of cars to service.

Good Oil Extractor
I have already done many oil changes on most cars. all in manual mode. No problem, always accurate and robust. Only a problem for a car "extraction straws" was short, he did not touch the base to export all the oil. problem solved with an extension of one of the extraction straws. Although with this little problem, I am satisfied

It does what it should do.
First of all I have deducted one star because.. the instructions that came with this item are at best incomplete and probably actually a bit misleading.Having said that I have used it once and it did the job really well.Ok so what’s wrong with the instructions, they suggest that you can turn the suction on and off using a tap located on the top of the device, and you sort of can....if you are using an external air supply to create the vacuum, at least I assume you can as because there is no airline adaptor fitted, (and this is ok because there are different types of adaptors out there), so on the only time I have used it so far I used the hand pump to create the necessary vacuum to suck the oil out, and if you are using it this way then there is no off for the suction, it’s on if you create the vacuum with the hand pump.Or at least I cannot see how to turn it off and the instructions are so unclear as to be of no use in that regard. But would I buy one again, yes I would. It worked flawlessly for me, (if you disregard the crappy instructions), and appears to be well made, it made changing the oil a very easy and much simpler operation, I look forward to years of use.
