Strong magnet, large basin for parts and small tools, and the protective coating on the base is brilliant and means you can stick it anywhere without risk of damaging the surface. I can confirm it really will stick to vertical surfaces like the side of a car and stay there, even when the tray is full of bolts, wrenches and other tools.
