As a hairstylist with a very strong focus on men’s hair for over 20 years, I applaud the guys at Highland for what they are doing. A product line with quality and minimal ingredients we can actually read and understand. This clay is what I have always wanted!! Sure you’ll see some reviews talking about how there isn’t enough hold or it’s not even a medium hold when it says it’s strong hold on the package, but you have to understand, when a product is this clean, strong hold isn’t going to feel like the strong hold in the garbage products most of us have used. This is a strong hold, in terms of keeping your best natural look all day. Something you can work into place, then continuously run your hands through all day and it still looks great. The men’s clay from Davines does a wonderful job at this too, but there’s something about the finish of this product that literally brings out such a healthy natural look. Not shiny either and definitely does not give you a wet look out of the shower. If you see that kind of review, the guy most likely has greasy hair, is using cheap conditioner, or perhaps applied too much. Don’t over use this product in your application, you get the best out it. Amazing work Highland, keep it up!

This is my second time buying the pomade, I have the cream as well. Honestly some of the best new product I’ve tried. The hold is perfect, not too hard and not too soft, plus it leaves a nice shine and smells great. Big fan!

I like the texture and the smell, and I like how it doesn’t leave a sticky residue on my hands. That being said, the hold is just ok and I think it’s really overpriced for how much you get.

This is my teenage son’s go-to hair product, and I have purchased it many times for him. He has thick, straight hair, and a small amount keeps his style in place without looking heavy or greasy. It spreads easily, stays flexible, and still looks natural by the end of the day. It continues to work well for his everyday styling and holds up consistently for his usual routine.

This is an okay product. It works well for the first hour or two but then makes my hair very greasy - it feels like I haven't washed it in weeks. It's fairly sticky, which is great, but again it only lasts 2-3 hours for me before making my hair greasy. It smells great - I'll give them that. I'm glad it works for others but it's just not right for me.

A little bit goes a long way with the Highland Glacial Clay! I like that this is a natural material and it does not leave my hair sticky or crunchy. It is a decent hold without leaving my hair greasy. I have bought this multiple times. It is pricy, but it does last a long time. With medium length hair, I have been using a tin every two-three months. Clean, classic look.

I have used a lot of Pomades and hair products over the years and have always been searching for one that had high hold but wasn’t greasy. My search has finally ended with this amazing clay pomade. I have thick short to medium length hair. It does a great job creating a natural look for both a neat part or messy “bed head” look. I also love that it is good for your hair and almost acts a little like a leave in dry shampoo. Second and even third day hair looks great with this product. This is my second tin and will be my go to product for my mane moving forward! Can’t recommend enough for anyone looking for natural products that are healthy for your hair and outperform the synthetic goop out there!
