Game Changer
I was skeptical about period underwear, but having heard enough people say positive things, I decided to give them a try. These are amazing. I am about to start writing Shakespearean sonnets about this underwear. OK, I won't, but I am still impressed; in fact, I just bought a second pack. First, let me just say that I am thrilled to find underwear with a space theme. Constellations and planets? Yes, please. The fact that the designs are fun give me something to kind of, sort of look forward to when dealing with that ever-so-delightful time of month (look, let's not judge--we're all out here trying to get through as best we can). As a bonus, these actually look cute on me. It's kind of nice to have something that makes me feel playful and cute when my body is turning into a raging blood machine. But I digress. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and the fit was as I expected. There is a bit of crinkling, and that had me worried, but once the underwear are on, you can't hear the crinkling, so they're discrete. Now, these aren't for heavy flow days. Not at all. But they're great as back up. I wore them with a tampon to jiu jitsu, and it was kind of liberating to not have to worry about a gross and sweaty pad wandering about all up in my business as I was rolling around. Same for when I went to the gym. As a back up or for really light days, these are a game changer for comfort. Sleeping, too, is much more comfortable. On one of my moderate-flow nights, I could sleep with these and it was good (although, just a reminder that one person's moderate flow is another person's light, so YMMV). These have worked great for days on either side of my period when sometimes my body likes to be all, "Hey, know what would be fun?" And I'm all, "Oh please no." And it's all, "Surprise spotting!" These have cut back on me using disposable products in anticipation of these "surprises". Cleaning is easy. I thought these would be messy, but they aren't. I hand wash them and then let them soak in some Oxi Clean and then toss them into a delicates bag and put them into the wash. I haven't used the dryer, so I can't say how well they hold up, but they have gone through several washings and are doing well. Overall, from the designs to the fit to the functionality, these are excellent. Just don't solo them for heavy days.

BUY THEM if you use pads!
Okay so! Overall, I really like these!! I have only used them for one cycle so far. I am a heavy bleeder and usually would bleed through the 8 hour pads pretty quickly. Also, with a pad, theres leakage on pants/underwear, thats just the name of the game and I am simply not a tampon girl, never have been. But recently, ive just been feeling like pads are uncomfortable and irritating my skin and just feel like sandpaper. So these were a really interesting find for me. I found that my bleeding didnt leak into my pants at all. It was just contained within the underwear. It doesnt get stinky. It also absorbs really well so when you bleed a lot, and then use the restroom, its just like a pad, its damp and uncomfortable but its the same and it absorbs quick and you dont feel like youre in a wet diaper by any means. My only new learning curve about this, which is a point for lazy people, you have to rinse them in the sink/bathtub faucet before throwing them in the wash. Its not a big deal its just like annoying. Idk! When im on my period the last thing i wanna be doing is like double laundry, by rinsing, then washing, to wear again for the rest of the cycle. Depending on the day and part of the cycle, i wore two pairs a day or i was able to just wear one pair a day. So definitely buy more than one pack if youre a week long bleeder. Overall, I like them and its a game changer for me. Dont have to worry about my underwear getting stained, just my new designated granny panties period underwear!! Not stinky, very absorbent, no leakage, comfortable and stretchy! Also the fit and size were both correct. Also the absorbency part goes all the way up the butt too which is nice because I sometimes during the night will bleed in the back from laying. A woman definitely designed these and theyre great quality and awesome for pad wearers!

Why did I wait so long to get these?! Game changer!
GUYS, these have changed my life!!!! I have no idea why, but for some reason, I always thought of period underwear as gross and stinky and that misconception caused me to unfortunately avoid them. But let me tell you, I have NEVER felt so clean and not "stinky" on a period as I did while wearing these! Not only was I cozy and comfortable throughout my whole entire period while wearing these, but I didn't feel "stinky" or wet/squishy/sticky at all! In fact, I feel like these were much more absorbant than typical pads are! I used to use the Kotex brand, and maybe it was just a bad brand of pads, but I would change out my pads multiple times a day and there would always be an odor at some point in the day, not to mention there would always be a mess on my daily use underwear when the blood would inevitably leak out. But with these period underwear, I never smelled "funky" at any point lol and obviously, you don't have to worry about the mess! This was my first experience so I wasn't sure what to do exactly, but here was my process: On the 1st day which is my heaviest day, I wore one pair of underwear for most of the entire day. I would say I am not the heaviest bleeder, but I'm not the lightest bleeder either, and it was only near the end of the day after using the bathroom and I went to pull the underwear up that I felt a little bit of wetness, so that is the point when I changed it out for a new pair and then later that night, I put on a new pair right before bed. I simply washed the underwear from that day in the sink really good with warm soapy water until the water ran clear and then I put those pairs from the first day in a bag to be washed with the other pairs I would be wearing on my heaviest days. I did that for day 2 and 3 and then washed all of the underwear I had worn up until that point, which was, if I recall correctly, about 8, (3 pairs the first 2 days, and 2 pairs the 3rd day). I washed the underwear on hot, normal cycle, with a splash of vinegar and then dried them as normal with no issues. After that, I continued to wear 2 pairs a day for day 4 and 5 and only 1 for my final day on the 6th day of my period. I washed the rest of the pairs as normal with my clothes without prewashing in the sink, as I didn't feel like they were as soiled as the first few days pairs. I loved these so much that I ordered more shortly after trying on my first pair! 😅 It was such a strange but wonderful feeling to be comfortable during my period and not have that gross feeling of a wet pad all day. I HIGHLY recommend these ladies!!!! For reference, I am 5'3, 127-130 lbs with large hips and a big/wide butt and I am not at all in shape and I ordered the large size and they fit wonderfully with barely any panty lines!

Game changer, seriously!
I'm going to write a long review for any of you that are trying to figure out exactly how these work and if they'd work for you. I was new to period underwear, so I was needing more info to wrap my brain around the concept! I'm in my 30s. I've had a kid, my periods are pretty regular, and I probably have a normal flow. My routine for decades was to use a super tampon and a liner on those first 2-3 days for about nine hours until I got home from work (I know--too long for a tampon!), and then change into an overnight pad for the rest of the day, and then another overnight pad for bed time. I didn't need that much absorbancy, but I did it for peace of mind that I could go about my business and also sleep without worry. However, I regularly leak in my sleep with an overnight pad. It shifts in my sleep, and I wake up to stained underwear, pj bottoms, and sheets. Ridiculous for a grown woman!! Also, the pads and liners start to irritate my skin after a few days. So I decided to look into period underwear. These are fantastic! I usually wear black hipster cotton underwear, and these fit and feel just like them. When you feel them in your hand, they make a bit of a crinkly sound, but they don't make any noise when you wear them. I was prepared to just wear these to bed and continue with tampons during the day, but these are so amazing that I wear them throughout the day and have cut out tampons completely. I've been wearing them for about four cycles now. My timing is still the same. I put on a pair in the morning, and when I get home from work, I rinse them out in the sink, throw them in the wash, and put on a new pair. Then I rinse out that pair and put on a new pair before bed. Zero leaks! Zero irritation! Ultimate comfort. Serious game changer. My complaints. One: there are often panty lines. I usually wear a small, so that's the size I ordered, and they seemed to fit but just felt a little snug, but the lines were awful. So I've kept those as my overnight pairs. I sized up to M and they still fit well and now only have minimal lines showing. I've figured out which pants and jeans I can wear with these and which I can't. It is a lot of rinsing out in the sink and washing. I was running my washing machine three times a day while on my period. Now that I have more pairs, I wait and wash all three pairs from the day at once to cut back on that. But if you only buy three pairs, and change them out as often as I do, you can't wait until the end of the day to wash them or none will be dry (you're not supposed to put them in the dryer) for the following day. My only other complaint--which is more of a warning--is not to sit down in these after working out. I love wearing these to work out in bc there's no chafing from pads or liners. However, after mowing the lawn once on a really hot day, I went to sit on the edge of my arm chair for just a few minutes to catch my breath before showering, and I got sweat and blood stains on my chair even though I hadn't bled that much. So I think the sweat was too much for these, and soaked into the chair mixed in with blood. I won't make that mistake again! It takes some getting used to the first couple days. I didn't trust them, so I just tried them at night at first, and when I was thrilled by the comfort and no leaks, I tried them on a weekend day when I was just hanging out at home, and it passed the test again. Then I tried wearing them to work. So seriously give these a shot. Every woman and her cycle is different, but if it works for you, you'll be so super happy to ditch the tampons and pads!!

Cute, easy to clean, period underwear
I have had these for a couple months now and here is my review based on my experience with various period underwear (hanes and bambody). Pros: - Absorbent: they do a good job of absorbing liquid. I have yet to find underwear that can handle my heavy days, but these are great for light days or combining with a menstrual cup. I consider this a Pro since these are listed as moderate absorbency. -Comfortable: the stitching on my other period underwear are kind of awkwardly placed (hanes), these ones feel like normal underwear for the most part. -Easy to clean: these clean easily. I rinse them and throw them in the wash. I have air-dried and tumble dried on low (and medium accidentally) heat and the material doesn't get warped or wrinkled like other period underwear (bambody). -SMELL: My biggest issue with period underwear is when they hold smell (hanes) no matter how quickly you wash them, these don't which is a huge plus for me! -Cute: the colors and patterns are cute! Can't go wrong with that Cons: -Padding in the front: the padding goes far up the back but not the front, this is an issue for me as I tend to leak towards the front, if you need more front protection, consider getting their higher waisted undies. -Bikini shape: this one is more of a personal preference, but I am not a fan of bikini period underwear, being bloated causes the front to roll down sometimes whereas a higher waisted underwear would likely fare better. Overall, these are my new favorite period underwear. I also use them when working out since I have had some UI after childbirth. Although I don't like the shape, I plan on trying to find a different style in the same brand because the ease of clean and comfort is great.

I love these!
I have already owned period panties, but they cost a fortune just for 1! I wanted to see if I could find some on Amazon that I can love for a decent price. I followed the size chart given, and they fit great. They are comfortable and soft even after a couple washes. I want products where I didn't have to worry about buying tampons and pads anymore. So these were a test set and they do their job great! I go through all stages from light to heavy and they worked for all of them. Obviously needing to change more frequently while heavy. In one of pictures you can see the front of the panty has 2 stitch lines on the inside. All my other store bought one don't have that extra top stitch, let alone in black. I was curious if it was also padding, and sure enough it was! I hated sleeping in period panties because they leaked when I rolled on my stomach. These didn't! All of the black inside is padding! I wanted to check all the colors so I can rate those too. The light colored yellow and gray ones did just as good as the rest. No staining, but I do hand wash them as soon as I take them off before the dirty pile. They didn't show through to the other side as well. I like that these aren't very bulky either. I always keep an extra pair in a separate bag in my purse during my cycle. They have held up nicely so far, and I am ordering another set before the sale ends. I can't stop raving about them!!

On the fence
I've never used menstrual underwear before, but I agree with a previous comment I saw that the padding doesn't cover enough in the front but somehow goes all the way to the back. Also, I am not a "heavy flow" type like I know some females are, but after wearing a pair for 6 hours I leaked out of the side 🙁 They are comfortable though!
