I purchased this fan in February and it worked great during the early spring to start vegetable seeds indoor. It was rarely used once the last frost (late April) passed, but I began to use it again this month. It started out fine for a couple of days, but stopped oscillating. I was prepared to give it two stars, one star for prompt delivery and explanation of its capabilities, and one star for the fact it seems a solid, well-made product. I wrote to VIVOSUN, not to request a refund (way outside of return time frame) but just to let them know if wasn't working. To their credit, they wrote back right away with a request for additional information so they could troubleshoot. I decided to give it another try and, of course, it is working fine now. (Murphy's Law). Since it is working as designed, I am glad to give it five stars, with a compliment to VIVOSUN for the prompt communication. UPDATE: The fan stopped working again. The seller requested a video showing the issue, which I supplied, and they are providing a refund that I can use to reorder the unit, which I will do. I still give the product five stars, as well as the seller.

Had Gen1, but the oscillation feature stopped working after a year or so. Was replaced under warranty. Great fan but even better support from the company. 5 stars for the fan and 10 stars for their customer service! Thanks Vivosun!

Works for about a year, then the oscillator stopped working. I have one that works, one that the fan motor burnt out, and one that the oscillator burnt out. They’re too expensive for 2 out of 3 breaking. Update: contacted them and they offered to send a replacement

Great fan, very, very quiet on low setting (only setting I use). Moves a lot of air on low. Nice pole mount clip. If you also buy the Vivosun E25 controller (USB dongle that plugs into fan) you get wireless remote control with auto on/off programming.

Update!!! 9-14-25 This thing is JUNK!!! Like my others, this is a total pile of junk. It failed after 3 months this time. It turns on, barely oscillating and then after less than a minute it just shuts off ... The fan is GREAT until it's NOT! This time it's poor wiring, if move the power cord where it goes into the fan at all it shuts it off... when it's oscillating it creates some movement which is enough to basically wiggle this wire/cord and shut itself down. Again, poor design this time wiring is the issue not motor failure. So please fix your stuff and I'll stop telling people to not buy your crap! DO NOT BUY THIS IT WILL FAIL QUICKLY, trust my experience with these fans. Nice fan for a short period. Make them $10 for the fail rate... June 2025-Original review: Irritated as I purchased what said 2-pack and only received 1 fan...now when u click on the add it says 1-pack that's so funny and not the first time this happened on Amazon. It must be a trick. This fan doesn't last like it should I already had one of these fail from a previous purchase. So when I saw the discounted 2 pack I figured if they lasted that long again at that price it wouldn't be too bad. But it's only 1 for the same high price. They have what I consider budget and poorly made products that will not last long.

Fan quality is sketchy but these guys made a bad fan good. I bought this fan for a particular purpose and found out after a couple of months use it stopped working. I tried a different wall socket, the usb hub, and nothing. So I sent a note to Vivosun and they responded in good time, and sent me a new fan. So I'm very satisfied. Stuff happens. I'll follow up if this fan stops working. It does the gig when working!

So far I've had this fan since September 2025 and I can't complain. This fan has many seating that sets it apart from any other regular fan. This fan will oscillate between fan speeds in order to make the plants think they are outside enjoying a summer breeze. The intensity of the fan can be adjusted , the higher you set it then it get a little louder but overall its super quiet in the mid to lower setting. It's important to have a fan in a grow tent since it allows plants to experience what they would in the outdoors, avoiding mold and weak plants. Since I bough it I have noticed a big difference in my plants in terms of strength and no more moldy leaves.

Best fan I have bought for growing indoors. Multi speed, quiet, and moves a lot of air for a small fan. The clamp is very strong and will keep the fan in place while running on high. Highly recommended if your looking to buy a fan that will last you a long time.
