My mother-in-law needed a bra after her stroke. She cannot reach behind her body any longer and she cannot maneuver small eye and hook closures. It's hard to put her breast in a bra and keep them there as she tries to clasp the bra. This bra allows her to put her breast in them easily and clasp in front with Velcro all comfortably. So far, it's been the best bra we've found for her limited mobility. I think it runs true-to-size. Based on reviews, I bought her a size bigger than I thought she'd need, but she ended up needing her regular size.

I bought this bra to use after a shoulder replacement surgery. I wore it for a week before the surgery.. I had to keep pulling the fabric back over my breast and it provided no support. The industrial strength Velcro was uncomfortable and painful. I gave it to the Goodwill in the hope someone could get some comfortable use from it. What a waste of money on an overpriced, useless item. Heed the reviews, I didn’t.

It was too big for me and the elastic was itchy around the ribs and hem I haven’t used it because of that reason but I’m sure others may like it just get the right size. I’m usually a small but my boobs were big from pregnancy. So I got the large, too big

After an injury immobilized my arm, I needed a bra that I could fasten with one hand and this fit the bill. I found that it was slightly larger than I expected based on the size chart. The velcro strip is quite long, making it a little difficult to "match up". The base of the velcro is plastic and rigid. The corner of the velcro is sharp and occasionally hurt. The bra served its purpose, but I was happy when it was no longer needed.

The velcro on the band of this bra is definitely too stiff and scratchy, but I took Susan Dennis' advice from her review and removed the "hook" side of the velcro (the side with the itchy spikes) with a seam ripper leaving only the last inch under the right breast. I tacked down the cut end to give it some durability. That took care of the stiff/scratchy problem, but I still needed a bit more support so I safety-pinned the two triangles that cover your breasts together in the middle like you would with a wrap top that gaps to low or blouse that keeps popping a button. Voila! Much better. Ultimately I may substitute the pin with a snap. Overall fit is based on your band size so measure before ordering. Cups are stretchy enough for most sizes - I'm a 42C. It's still just stretchy fabric without any foundation though - no uplift/shaping and not enough support for running or jumping, just a comfy casual bra.

I have neuropathy and have trouble with hooks and snaps.This bra helps by Velcro for tightness in front of bra so you can see what you are doing and a big hook and eye! I love the ease of getting into a bra that I can hook up and put on!

Im sorry for this negative review, However this items design makes it more difficult then a normal bra, do to the velcro, (which is underneath the cups) is 6 inches long & 2 inches wide!! The Material used is soft, yet non supporting as in zero... Great ideal but needs to back to the drawing board...

I have a left side lumpectomy and this bra works great for me. I have ordered 3 others. I simply slide iit over my head for on and off.
