These are amazing best pair of cutters by far

Ive gone years without using these and since seeing another contractor using them I decided to try them out. I use them all the time now and they are very sharp. The holes for the fingers could be a bit larger but they are what they are.

Good for sniping

I bought these for cutting bar tape on road bikes but the notch in the blade makes them crap for this application. I imagine they’d be great for cutting insulation on electrical cable but I’m not a sparky so can’t verify. Excellent build quality as expected but I would lean towards a Fiskars product if you need plain old scissors.

Super sharp and great handles

Normally I buy CK but i am very happy with this. Had to buy it as the enter team has Ck. Everyone thinks its really expensive

I first saw these whilst working with an Italian engineer a few months ago and he was so keen on them that I thought I should give them a go. Since getting them I have hardly used anything else for cutting and stripping cables. They cut through 6mm cable as easy as any cutters I have used but are sharp enough and you have enough control to strip fine instrument cables just as easily. They are an absolute must for anyone doing electrical work.

Knipex quality as expected. Thumb holes are too small to use correctly. I have average size 9 glove hands and every time I use these I have to use my other hand to "unlock" my thumb out of them. Shame because they are super sharp for label cutting. Really need a 50% size increase in the handle to be one size fits all left and right hand format.

Very useful for both fine snipping and cutting and stripping thicker cables up to 35mm2 (50mm2 at a pinch). It has been invaluable in installing my new 12v house battery bank on my boat. Wish I'd gone 24v but you live and learn. If I had gone 24v these scissors would have probably covered my cable cutting needs.

Purchased it to help my electrician to quickly carry out some repairs in my villa. First of all, I would like to say that the product is terribly overpriced. It’s no more than a pair of scissors. Don’t understand why it should be priced thus! The sheath provided is of miserable quality. Expected it to be at least as good as shown in the picture. For that price it should have been packaged in a decent plastic box. It’s possible that Knipex could be pushing such poor quality stuff only to India. Indian products of same utility come with better quality accessories. The scissors-like contraption snips well though and is quite handy. It’s longevity is still to be tested.
