31-12 Extension Ladder Pulley Replacement Kit Compatible with Werner Brand Aluminum & Fiberglass Extension Ladders Silvery

Sick of the rope getting stuck beside the pulley and not staying on it I got this to replace that pulley on an all american ladder and it’s perfect. Although it appears to have been cut with a saw blade vs laser or water jet it functions fine. Seems strong enough. I would prefer an aluminum pulley vs plastic, but this one is much beefier than what came on it which also is plastic. The 3/8” marine rope i bought to go with it fits perfectly. Again much better than what came on the ladder.

I have an old 32 foot extension ladder and this pulley kit was just right for my ladder. It is built light and is very sturdy. It was very easy to put together and was worth the money.

Does its job well. Stouter than the pully that came with the ladder. A nice upgrade.

The rope on my ladder broke, also breaking the pulley. Easy fix.

The Pulley assembly seems Well made with HEAVY aluminum, needs your POP RIVET TOOL to install the pop rivet which is included in the package. The lower end of the assembly where the pull rope will touch is sharply machined and not ground smooth, contact with the pull rope will fray the pull rope after a while, see attached photo at the pointed to area. I had to grind the sharp edges to make the assembly more finished for long term dependable use. Some of the assembly is already smoothed on the edges. The wheel is plastic and fits snugly inside the assembly, so rope would have a hard time binding outside the pulley. See the attached photo on this review. Cheers
