Gebildet Metal Key Lock Switch 12mm On/Off Prewired Key Switch Lock Maintained Latching Key Switch(Pack of 4)

Really had to use the product pictures for the wiring instructions, but I like how there are different wiring options to have the switch illuminated either all the time, or just when the button is in the ON position. Used a 12mm drill bit to make the hole for the switch which fit nicely.Switches look great and high quality and light up nicely. As others have mention the actual push button is quite small but perfectly serviceable and as described in the product spec. I am really happy with my purchase which also arrived days before the expected delivery date.

I now regularly use the Gebildet stainless buttons for my wiring projects as the feel and quality are second to none. I purchased these smaller than usual 12mm versions which still retain the quality feel but are a little smaller than I expected (they are 12mm as advertised). Unfortunately I had to return these and replaced them with the 22mm versions - but if you want small high quality push buttons then look no further than these. Lovely 'click' into position, latching, nice LED backlight and a proper quality feel. 100% recommended, and I recommend the larger versions from this seller as well depending on your project requirement.

The wiring is not immediately obvious until you think about it! The red and black wires connect to the power supply (i.e. in parallel with the switched circuit) and the two green wires are the switched circuit connected in series with the switched circuit. It's obvious when you think about it, but not, perhaps, intuitive!

Perfect great quality

Nice size neat switch that doesn't take much room. Used on a motorbike to sit inline on abs pump test rig, so no need to keep removing panels to test system.

Nice & chunky & good quality

The switch itself is good and well made. It is let down by the lack of wiring instructions.The switch has 4 connections but no instructions how to connect them. The switch is as I understand it supposed to light up so that you can see them and become brighter when turned on. However all I could get them to do was to blow fuses.I have just had to use them without the lights.
