This playset is well loved. My little one loves playing with the skipper children and babies with along side Barbie. This set has been well played with and has proven durability so definitely worth the money. All the accessories have been well played with, the items stand up without the need to lean on something. It’s a plastic playset so doesn’t look as pretty as it could but it’s bright and functional and well liked.

My granddaughter is 5½ years of age and this is the first set with so many little parts in it that I have got for her, I think she is finally organised enough and the right age to keep all the parts together. She was so excited when she got it and I was impressed at how careful she was when getting all the parts out of the wrapping. Another reason that I've stayed away from these type of toys is the price and at £39.99 this seems to expensive, yes you get 3 dolls (1 full size doll and 2 children), and accessories but it is a lot of money for a toy especially if the parts go missing and they are very easy to misplace as they are such small parts. This set is from a reputable brand and it comes with added extras like the picture appearing on the easel so you be sure it's good quality, but the price can be off-putting. This toy is ideal for a child who is old enough to keep their toys organised and possibly has somewhere where it can be left out on display when not being used and it can also be added to other sets from the same brand so your child's collection can grow without having to buy the more expensive bigger sets.

Happy with this set and the variety kids get in it to play with. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come with 2 blankets for the beds, but instead had 2 small hand towels. The towels would be more useful in a baby playset as baby blankets or burping cloths. The strawberry one could be used in a bathroom or kitchen play scenario, but the other just for a Barbie infant baby because of the baby print on it. The puppet theater is a cute idea, though the puppets are a bit large in scale for the toddlers, so maybe skipper is supposed to be the one putting on the show for the toddlers? However, many kids probably wouldn't be hung up about this detail. The beds fit various height vintage Kelly dolls, but are too short for Chelsea dolls by maybe half an inch or an inch. Even bending Chelsea's body forward and laying her on her side didn't make her fit the length. Otherwise, it's a nice set to keep a child interested and occupied for a while, especially if integrated into a dollhouse situation.
