The band is the right size and works well. The Velcro is very strong. I found it’s easier to set the size and slide the band on and off.

I bought this for suport for recovery and while at work (I'm a nurse) for after I get laparoscopic surgery in 2 weeks. I haven't had surgery yet (so I can't fully review yet) but i did take out of package to try it on. For me, I'd like it to be a tiny bit longer vertically, maybe an inch or 2. The length was perfect and it can be tightened if it's too long or if you lose weight. I wish it was a little firmer. It's pretty flexible, which is more comfortable, but that allows you to slouch and isn't as supportive as I had hoped. It's made well, and I'll certainly will use it returning to work, but not sure it will be firm enough for immediate post-op support/recovery. But flexibility may be what someone else is looking for.

Firm enough to give good support to post surgery abdominal area. Flexible and soft enough to be comfortable. The velcro closure stays very secure even when stretching or pulling. The one not so great thing is that because the velcro grabs so firmly to the material, it is very hard to pull apart and readjust, and pulls some of the material with it when pulled apart. I found that the best way to deal with this was to find the right spot to place the velcro for my need, and just leave it there, then step into the binder and pull it up, instead of trying to adjust it and close it around me every time I put it on.

It has a good fit, however it is a tad short in the torso. I didn't realize that there was also one with 4-panels. This one would have been better as it can cover the lower abdominal area. It is also difficult to take off.
