Don't buy!
Product is not meant for Europe. The voltage is wrong so the pedal is a full power all the time if you use a plug converter.

American plug
I was bought this sewing machine as a Christmas present to replace a Singer sewing machine but am very disappointed when going to use it that it had a American plug on it so am unable to use it I cannot return it to Amazon as did not check it immediately and returns date has expired This was not mentioned inthe write-up for the machine now i have a sewing machine I am unable to use Very disappointed with this

Power plug is not suitable for UK use.
It needs a 3 pin plug or adapter/transformer plug which is not there. Got it for Christmas and just opened it to use it and I'm so disappointed not to be able to.

Buyer Beware
Ordered This, believe its a good item, luckily when it was opened I noticed the plug was American style, checked the voltage, USA 120v a/c, No good for UK (240v a/c and most of Europe) Why sell on Amazon UK with no mention of problem ??

Dangerous
This is offered with a USA plug requiring a transformer. USA uses 120v ..UK 240v Amazon should not be offering this on UK market without a warning. What a complete waste of my time and disappointment for the receiver for whom it was bought as a gift.

If you are looking for a workhorse, simple to use machine, this is the machine for you!! I own 4 Computerized Brother Sewing and Embroidery machines. This one sews over many layers with seams without bogging down and breaking needles. The Stitch quality is beautiful. I do all kinds of sewing and appliqueing. It was simple to set up and directions are very clear to understand. I may have left another review but had to tell you, if you want simple that does the job, get this machine.

Very good for heavy duty items. Such as jeans (denim) and gabardine. I have been using it for retouching my pants and some tops. I am using it to saw some materials but it have to be cotton, polyester and hard satin. I can not saw well a nylon material as well as it saw the cotton and other fabrics, but it is good and quiet.
