Good quality part. Swapped this out along with MAF and a DISA valve rebuild kit. Should be set for at least another 60k miles or so. Money and time we’ll spent.

It did fit very well. Good product.

Took me more time to install this than the rest of the job: - The two worm gear clamps are useless, save your old ones, lube them and reuse them (or buy new ones). - The (Siemens OEM) MAF sensor has a very hard time fitting into this boot, because the boot is much tighter; never had a problem with the old one. - It's about 1 inch longer than OEM. No idea why.

where you connect it to the throttle body boot doesn’t have a hard ring around it. so both ends are soft and when you put a hose clamp over it, it bulges in different directions and is very hard to get on.

This was a perfect replacement for my 2004 BMW 325Xi E46. I would suggest replacing the "F" connector at the same time for piece of mind. I really hope the clamp on your throttle body has the screw facing up so that you don't have to go through the nightmare of removing it from the bottom.

Easy to install and works great, tough, and yet supple rubber allowed it to be put on the car with ease!

I ordered the wrong size, I have a 330i and wasn't paying attention that they may have different tubing sizes. (both the MAF and TB are larger on 330) the difference is a 330 inner diameter is the outer diameter of the smaller engines(several MM difference). I got it to fit anyway by force so I'll keep it for now. But if anyone else is ordering this half asleep, it doesn't fit on 330i. Great part anyway, tough thick pliable rubber. perfect casting, including inner race depth.

Okay look. It may sound childish but when I got it in I bad engine noises in the intake tube to show my car what it’s supposed to sound like. After putting it on my car didn’t seem to hate it. Still works great today.

Replacement part for e46 air intake boot,close to original quality.

Product bad a ripped whole in the rubber. Maybe a manufacturing error or it was used. Regardless I returned it. I did order another one from the same company though as it's the only one on Amazon. I will report back and update this soon when I receive it.

Installed in a 325xi touring. Fit perfect, not sure why others had issues. Only issue I have is the breather line is not open. You need to drill it out or buy one with it I guess. Not sure why it comes like that but seems to be a common issue reported so I’m guessing it’s done on purpose. Car runs good now though. Gave it 4 stars for the drilling
