I purchased two 20" in the beginning of september 2025 and used them in my 75 gallon and 40 gallon freshwater aquarium tanks. The one put in the 75 gallon had the colored lights quit working after day one so only one color was on at all times....I could not change the color. The one in the 40 gallon works well but as of today, 12/29/2025 the color lights no longer work. The air bubbles still work on the one in the 40 gallon tank but the one in the 75 gallon tank is losing energy to create bubbles. I have a warranty on both and glad I do because I will keep replacing them until the company can get it right to have them work properly for more than three months....

It took a while to get the bubbler functioning properly, probably about a week. I initially had to play with the angle of it to get bubbles to come out of every orifice. Now at 2 months in I no longer have to play with the angle, it seems to work fine even when the bubbler gets moved. My fish tend to like the lighting from the bubbler more than the lighting from the overhead LED lights. They tend to come out more when only the LED from the bubbler is on. The 20" bubbler is the perfect size for my 29 gallon tank. It comes right up to the filter, but not so far that it effects its function. The only downfall so far is that the suction cups let go every 2 weeks or so and I have to reach in to readjust it's position.

The light works good for a while, but then the colors of each led gets messed up, and if you pick a color red for example, it'll have yellow, green, orange, but won't be all red. Also, if the remote stops working at one point, they don't have a replacement. You have to purchase the whole led light. I've used mine only for the bubbles, and almost never used the led and the remote. The other day, I decided to use the led, but the remote is not working, even after putting a new battery. The seller said to purchase a new unit.

Thought this would be a good buy but was a bit disappointed. First it needs to be mounted at the bottom of the tank if you are going to use the bubble feature. If you do this fish will hide between the light bar and the back of the tank glass. It also makes it very hard to vacuum your gravel. 2nd, a single air pump is not enough to produce tiny bubbles in the water, you need a very powerful pump with a dual hose valve to connect each side of the light bar to produce enough pressure across the entire bar for tiny bubbles. 3rd when you are able to produce enough bubble with this product, the popping of those bubbles produce a lot of surface moisture in and out of your tank that will need to be cleaned up. 4th the intensity and color of the lights can be a bit harsh even with dimming the light. The glare from the LED's make it very hard to look at and enjoy your tank. 5th the IR remote needs direct line of sight to function. As far a functionality this is either a light or a bubbler but not both and not in a 40 gal tank, maybe something deeper? The light would be more functional as a top mount shining down but then it would not work as a bubbler. The size we got goes the length of the tank and that should have been fine the pressure needed make this work properly was too intense for our fish and a smaller size might have worked better but would not have produced the bubble wall desired. the quality and durability of this product seems fine but we are only using it as a light occasionally and have separate air stones. For the cost and functionality I don't find this to be a good value and the pressure required to make this work was not clearly identified in the product description.

I wished I would've ordered the bigger one, but the one I got works just as good. I based my purchase on those reviews that were in the 3 and 4 stars because there is more honesty in that range. The remote not working remained a consistent aspect of this product, and was expecting it not to work. It still didn't take from the how good this really works. I have a 70 gallon tank and 2 air pumps, a tank larger than 40 gallon requires more air power because of the pressure the tank has.. the larger the tank, the weight per foot your bubbler has to over come. 1 gallon of water weighs approximately 10 pound, and your air supplier has to be able to more than what the tank is, otherwise you will get back pressure or your product won't work as good, like bubblers. Prior to putting your bubblers in your tank, hook the airline and run your air for about 5 to 10 minutes, this allows air to reach all parts of the bubbler consistently, and will function much better. Keep the air running when you put it in your tank, if your tank is full of water, it will prevent water from entering the holes of the bubbler and make it seem like the holes are clogged. If you put your bubbler with an empty tank, make sure to start your air pump before you start filling your tank and while you are filling your tank. As for the remote not working, I think the company should reduce the price until the remote issue is fixed, the features on the remote look pretty awesome and wished it had worked. It could be a dead batter, and will see.
