Light but pleasant health tea
This health tea is pretty interesting and tasty. It is convenient and easy to prepare. Simply put a tea bag in about 26-32 oz. of hot water and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. You can drink it hot or let it chill in the fridge and sip it throughout the day. It is a light tea with a pleasant flavor profile. Refreshing to drink when chilled. It is supposed to help with the uneasy feeling in the stomach when you eat a lot of greasy foods. This comes in a pack of 2 retail boxes each containing 24 tea bags. These tea bags are somewhat large and each contains 10g of the tea leaf ingredients. Each bag makes up to 4 cups of the tea. The packaging is in Japanese, so I can't tell what the ingredients or the nutrition facts are. Product of Japan. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this tea. It is mild but pleasant. Easy and refreshing to drink, especially when chilled. Only time will tell how good its benefits are. Worth giving it a try, especially if you like greasy foods.

Disappointing
I recently tried the Japanese Decor Sakura Yamamoto Kanpo Healthy Tea and unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. Although I wasn't too bothered by the lack of English on the packaging, the taste was not to my liking at all. In fact, it was quite weird and unpleasant, which was a shame because I was hoping for a healthier alternative to balance out greasy foods. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and won't be purchasing it again in the future.

Overwhelmingly like barley tea but drier
This tastes and smells just like barley tea, however my tongue feels dry after drinking it. Very reminiscent of powdered barley tea. I was hoping that the puer would stand out more at the very least, however I'm not getting any of the tones. Puer also contains caffeine, and after having this I can say that there is almost no caffeine content in this. I would say it makes a decent barley tea, however you'd be hard pressed to be able to taste anything else but barley in it.

nice, earthy flavor, and is good for digestion
I lived in Japan for many years and barley tea was often served with or after oily meals. Often, it was served cold or at room temperature so it's worth trying this both cold and hot to see which is tastier to your palate. The claims that it's aids digestion are true as barley acts as a natural antacid to settle digestion and there is fiber in it to help avoid constipation from fatty meals. In terms of flavor, this has a unique earthy and grain-like flavor which is hard to put precisely into words. It's not like other teas at all in that it isn't astringent or caffeinated. It pairs well with food though as it doesn't clash with any particular flavors. It's also a nice palate cleanser. Preparation is simple, and you need to make large portions (add 700 to 900 ml of boiling water to one bag) at once so it's easy to have a supply of it cold on hand.

A Warming and Digestive Delight
As a fan of barley tea, I found the taste to be absolutely delightful, providing a comforting and warming sensation with every sip. The size of the tea bags is worth mentioning, as they are perfect for brewing a whole pot of tea, allowing you to indulge in its goodness for an extended period. This tea is said to aid in digestion, and while it's important to note that individual reactions may vary, I personally found it to be a soothing companion after meals. It's worth mentioning that if the tea doesn't agree with you, it's advisable to avoid drinking it further. What struck me is that this tea is made in Japan, which adds a touch of authenticity to its flavor and cultural appeal. The large boxes containing individually wrapped tea bags are not only convenient but also ensure freshness with each use.

Refreshing tea
I drank this tea both hot and cold. While I don't mind it hot I really loved it cold. I used two tea bags in a large pitcher and poured hot water over the bags and let it simmer. I then refrigerated it overnight. I have been drinking this all day and I think it's refreshing and the tastes different than any tea I ever drank. The entire box and directions were in Japanese. I can taste the barley in this tea & barley has some well known health benefits including blood pressure support & may help reduce acid reflux. They also enclosed samples of a health smoothie concentrate. I would order this again. This was sent to me as a part of the Amazon vine program and is provided for no cost but is considered income for tax purposes. My review is my personal assessment of the product and my goal is to give a complete and honest evaluation.

This health tea is more of a barley tea flavor.
This health tea is more of a barley tea flavor. But strange, I drank for two days in a row... The stomach has a deep feeling. Only temporarily stopped. The formula does not have diarrhea ingredients, but the diet for these two days is also routine, and I don't know what the reason is.
