Well, they're notebooks.
These are certainly notebooks. They have pages and front/back covers. Nice colors. Easy to write in.Just in case you missed it, they're small so don't order them thinking they're normal 8x11 notebooks. Quality paper. Quality, thick covers. They're basically small versions of the nice Five Star notebooks. They're good for taking notes and they're convenient to put in a purse or backpack without taking up basically any room. I use mine for taking notes of what to tell my doctors when I go see them, another is for what I want to talk to my lawyer about when I speak to them about new meds or doctor visits. Another I have to quickly jot down appointment dates/times when I'm on the phone so I don't forget before I hang up and go to put it in my calendar.So basically, overall, they're just small notebooks. They do notebook things.

It's a pocket notebook, just a little better in every wayThe binding is NOT spiral. It won't snag your pocket. Page tear out is easier also.Covers are translucent plastic, not cardboard. No frayed or mashed down cornersInside pages have dark grey lines that stop just short of the edge, not standard blue.First page is unlined. Handy for title, index, etc.(So I'm a notebook snob. These things are great!)Left Giftable blank. four pads come in a flat 8x12 (+/-) box. Four different cover colors:yellow, pink, pale blue, pale green.
