Update to the updates! LOL...(Apr 2021). So I've had a chance to wear these caps, I have one in charcoal grey and one in navy blue. I LOVE THESE CAPS and get so many compliments on them. I wore them all winter (well, the grey one mostly) and it kept my head nice and warm and they continue to wash up nicely. I gave myself a hot oil treatment and wore the grey cap and it had gotten oily. I put it in the wash machine and the oil just about came out of the cap. Now, it could have been the oil that I used as it said it would wash out of clothing but in any case, I love these - so easy to throw on and hit the streets! I don't sleep in them however. UPDATE TO MY INITIAL REVIEW: I've had this cap on almost 24 hours and it is so comfortable!!! Even with the elastic around the hairline, it is so super comfy and the fact that it can be adjusted makes it perfect. I can't wait to get my free cap!!! Will definitely order another one once I see the color of the freebie! I love it. One thing I did notice is that the elastic inside the cap turns a bit, but not a big deal. I straighten it out and keep steppin! I was worried at first that my head wouldn't fit into this cap, but it did - YAY!!! What I liked about this cap that I purchased in the dark grey: 1) LOVED THE PACKAGING!! I was really impressed in the nice envelope it came in. Included a free scrunchie and a free offer!! (Amazon put it in a box however. so wasteful. Could have used those blue and white tyvek envelopes for this!) 2) Material is really soft. I tried it on over a scarf I had on my head as I don't wear anything w/o washing it first. I washed it in warm water and some hemp soap. Really just squeezed the soap and water through the cap, didn't scrub or anything. I did notice what looked like some 'beading' on the cap - like flakes, but I guess if the cap is bamboo, perhaps that is what is was I saw; fibers. Will see what it looks like when it's dried. 3) Easily adjustable. I adjusted it once I put my hands in it to check out the circumference and didn't have to do a lot of fussing with it. I don't like fussing with stuff to get it to work!! 4) Seems comfortable although I only had it on about 15 seconds or so. May need to come back and update my review once I wear it. Nothing else to say I guess. I will probably order another one. I got this as I couldn't find a boho scarf in dark grey. I think this will be perfect for me to cover my locs!!!

I wear an eye mask to sleep at night and my long hair was always getting stuck in the velcro strap. I would have to slowly and painstakingly pull each strand out of the velcro every morning. So I’ve lost a lot of hair to that eye mask. This sleep cap completely solved that problem! I also believe it’s helping to prevent hair loss in general by keeping my hair out of the way so I’m not constantly rolling over on it and tugging at it all night long. Sometimes I even use this sleep cap as an eye mask and ear muffler by pulling it down below my eyes and over my ears! My husband also likes that we can now snuggle without my long hair getting in the way or swatting him in the face when I roll over to my other side. This cap is seriously preventing neck injuries for us long-haired gals that tend to violently whip our heads in the other direction when switching sides! This is the best thing ever you didn’t know you needed!

I have loved this cap since I received it the first of January. However, I just realized how it is falling apart already here in July. I honestly would have expected it to last much longer than that. I only wear it when I sleep to protect my curls. I don’t ever wear it out or during the day. The elastic band also tends to not really stay on where I place it and I’m not a helicopter sleeper. Was hoping for a higher quality product :( UPDATE!!!! - Seller reached out to me and offered a replacement saying my issue must have been a manufacturer defect and agreed that quality is very important. I say, kudos to the seller! To take the initiative and automatically send out a replacement is such a refreshing change in this day and age! Currently I must say I love it, just like I did the first one. However, it is hard to know six months down the road if it is still holding up. But I would buy again from this seller because the honesty and integrity is so worth it! Thank you :)

I have long, thick hair that is down to my butt and was getting severally tangled while I slept. I would rip large chunks of it out in the morning when I brushed it. This cap keeps my hair from tangling and brushing it out in the morning is so much easier. The cap is comfortable to wear all my night long and the adjustable elastic makes it fit snug enough to stay on during the night despite tossing and turning. I did struggle at first with how to get my hair all inside of the cap but through trail and error of different methods have found if I turn the cap inside out, gather all my hair loosely at the top of my head, place the cap on top and pull the elastic down, all of my hair is easily contained inside.

I have very long unruly hair and was struggling to sleep due to trouble finding comfort because of my hair. A friend suggested a sleep cap so I tried this one. The first night, it slipped right off in bed, but I was able to tighten it with the strap inside the band. The next night, I had it too tight and it was miserable. Now that I have played around with it a little bit, it stays on for the most part and controls my crazy hair, but it has to be just a little too tight to stay on, which can occasionally cause some headaches.
