Does the job, works very well in my Lamy Fountain pen.

I've been using Lamy Safaris for years now as my everyday fountain pens because I love writing by hand. My friends always compliment me on my handwriting and say that my little cards lift their spirits. Even the lady in the post office said she was cheered up by seeing real handwriting in a lovely colour on my envelopes. Much better than something printed out. I recently got a new Safari that came without cartridges or a converter because I like to use different coloured inks for different things. This converter arrived quickly and is a genuine Lamy part. Well made, and I can tell you from experience that they last for a very, very long time. A tip: You can take out the converter and put it directly into your ink bottle to refill it. But the ink flow is quicker and better if you leave it on the pen and refill via the nib. Don't forget to put some filtered water through your converter now and then and clean the pen and nib to ensure the best flow and smoothness, especially if you haven't used your pen for some time or have left it dry. I have sometimes thought these things are a bit pricey, but considering that I've had some for many years and they are still going strong, I think they are very reasonably priced. Lamy is designed in Germany since the 1930s, and made in Germany. Quality to count on. I have no affiliations with Lamy, just years of experience using and enjoying these pens. I prefer using ink over cartridges because the flow from cartridges can be inconsistent, especially as the ink level lowers. Also there is the plastic wastage to consider. Not so much of an issue with these converters.

Fits the Lamy safari pen well. Well made and high quality. However I struggle to get it fill on the first draw. Definitely would recommend for use with carbon inks

Ideal upgrade for a lamy safari or altar. Choice of bottled inks no more ink on fingers. Not much, anyway.

A bit stiff, but works perfectly. May need a touch of silicone grease. By the by. More importantly and a win win, it fits my inherited Parker Frontier hithertofore only used as a dip pen. Nice.

Absolut passgenau. Die Konverter sind für jeden Lamy - Sammler und Schönschreiber, für Calligrafie - Fans (Lamy bietet tolle Calligrafie -Federn an), für Hand-Letterer etc. unerlässlich. Wer mit unterschiedlichen Tinten aus dem "Fass" arbeiten möchte, kommt um die Konverter nicht herum.
