Squeegee with 55'' Extension Pole

TL;DR: Well made squeegee that cleans windows and windshields effectively, with no meaningful issues in everyday use. I bought this DSV Standard squeegee as a general purpose tool for car windows and a few house windows that are easy to reach. The design is familiar but executed competently. On one side you have a sponge wrapped in a mesh cover that holds a good amount of water and cleaner. On the other side is a rubber blade that removes the water in long, even strokes. Used together, they make short work of dust, pollen, and the usual road film that builds up on glass. The handle has a comfortable grip and a practical length for close range work. It feels secure in the hand and does not twist while scrubbing. The head is firmly attached, and I have not seen any wobble or looseness so far. The rubber edge is straight and flexible enough to maintain contact with the glass, which helps prevent leftover streaks when you use a consistent technique. In terms of performance, it does what I expect a basic window squeegee to do. It will not transform neglected glass in a single pass, but with a bit of patience and the right cleaning solution, it leaves windows clear and presentable. This is only an opinion, not objective truth, because results can vary depending on water hardness, cleaning fluid, and user technique. Materials and build quality feel appropriate for the price point. Works great, like a professional tool. If you always get H2O splattered on ur mirror from using an electric flosser, this is very handy. Make sure towel nearby to absorb the water you’ve squeegeed down to bottom of mirror. Easy to put together. Doesn’t retain too much water. Ya do ha to squeeze it out after use. Handle length fine.

Perfect for reaching the upper part of my windows. Love that it has several sections to adjust the length of the pole to suit my needs.

It won't stand up to tough jobs or frequent or heavy use but for basic, yearly cleaning house windows, mine has lasted 2 years. Just don't use a lot of pressure, use plenty of glass cleaner (or other) and let it work...it will do the job. I do like it's versatility with varying lengths to adapt to my needs. My only complaint is the squeegee part. It's quite stiff, not straight and squeaks quite a bit. For the price, though, it's not bad.

Ok. I don’t give 5 stars unless something (whether book, movie, product, etc.) can’t possibly get any better - no matter how much I like it. That being said, I am very happy with this squeegee. It is strong enough to scrub and the rubber part seems pretty durable - on that only time will tell. What’s really great is that the handle can be adjusted from very short to very long. Being under 5’5” makes it impossible to clean the windshield of our SUV in its entirety. Simply cannot reach the middle. Being 70 years old, I’m not climbing a stepstool. This has a wonderful reach almost all the way across the windshield without losing the structural strength and integrity of the handle. I love it. It worked so well that my grandson got involved and did the second SUV. While doing that, my counterpart mother-in-law appeared and asked him to do her car and wanted to know where I got this. The handle is just so nice and long and not flimsy. Definitely would buy again. How can it be improved? Well, it would be better if, once the different sections of the handle were screwed together, there would be some sort of locking mechanism. As with most screwed together handles, once you start using them they become loose and you need to screw the sections together again. I’m not an engineer nor inventor and someone smarter than me can, I’m sure, figure this out. Additionally, it is a fact, due to the inherent nature of the squeegee material and the durability of rubber, that these parts will degenerate at some point. The handle will still be going strong, however. So, what about selling just the cleaning apparatus that screws into the end of the handle separately. So consumers don’t have to buy an entirely new product and toss the old handle (a waste of resources). I would definitely keep buying that part over and over again. Let me be clear that the degradation of the squeegee and rubber scraper components will happen over time and is not due to poor quality. It is no reflection on the quality of this product. Great product and very happy with my purchase.

I used it for 10 seconds sponge came out . It's not working at all .very bad quality. I don't recommend this item .
