You win "Most Unusual Question of the Week" The short answer is No. This is a fuel tank cleaner. Even if you put maple syrup in your fuel tank it would not be recommended. Try many flushings using very hot water.

This isn't for external cleaning, it is to interact with fuel with enzymes to make old, stale fuel usable, or to prevent it from going stale. This goes IN the tank, not on it.For external cleaning, use a detergent like Simple Green, or a similar cleaner.
