I bought this fan for my grow tent and it works better than expected. The clip is sturdy and grips well on poles and shelves. The airflow on both speed settings is impressive for a 6-inch fan. The low setting is quiet enough for my seedlings, while high really moves air around. The adjustable head tilts in multiple directions, which is helpful for directing air exactly where I need it. No complaints. The build quality feels solid and it's been running daily for months without issues. Great value for the price.

Does its job quietly and has a nice long cord attached for those further outlets. Has plenty of power but the knob will sometimes pop up and turn the oscillator off.

Love this fan. I've actually used this same fan in both my tents for the last 4 years and going strong still no problems.

SOLID build quality, great functionality, but getting the base attached is a bit of a pain. You almost need two people especially with larger hands. The clip holds REALLY well, and the cord is an adequate length for the intended application. I have several of these and would bump to 5 stars instantly if the base was a bit easier to attach. This fan does not have all of the bells and whistles that some other brands offer, but it's a FAN, 2 speeds is plenty for the application we are using it for. Set it and forget it, it stays solidly in place.

They don’t last long. They stop being able to oscillate. But first they start clicking. A horribly annoying clicking when they start to fail. Woke me up in the middle of the night.

My best choice very good quality

I bought two of these nine months ago. One is still going strong, the other began to intermittently lose power. I managed to restart it several times by jiggling the cord at the base of the fan, but that only worked for a couple of weeks before it died. That said, I have tried many such fans in my grow tent, and these are the best ones so far. So, since the price has come down a bit, and my other fan is still going strong, I bought another one. Then, I contacted Vivosun about the defective fan, and they refunded my money! With such good customer service, I have no problem purchasing more stuff from Vivosun in the future.

Oscillates, is pretty powerful, and adjustable. The clip is HORRIBLE. This thing will slide down your tent pole unless you have something else to hold it in place. Fairly loud, makes a click as it oscillates, but small and easy to adjust. It's a cheap fan, your paying extra for the brand name but still really pricey for what it is

Bought a second one because these are so great. Loud enough to provide you with comforting noise, but quiet enough that people can't hear it. Small, but somehow strong enough to chill you thoroughly. Only caveat is that the pipe you attach it to can't be too thick. I have a 1" dia. pipe as part of my nightstand and it's perfect.
