I purchased this kit thinking someone made proper measurements for the Glock Gen 4, dove tail. Well, they tried their best. Someone filed down a piece of aluminum, then sodered it to a manufacturered plate and added some level of epoxy. Great idea, but they didn't QC their measurements against a the glove dovetail groves. So, they plate has been dremeled or filed down making the edges rough and exposed. Then, the dovetail is too, small. Now, if you dont have a basic Holosun red dot, its not a bad deal. Luckily for me, I purchased a dovetail picatinny rail and I'll see if that works. If not, this setup is not a good fit. I could send our the slide to be milled, or buy a Glock 26, Gen milled slide. The mounting bracket and/or plate does not fit with the Glock 23 Gen 4 as advertised. Despite following the installation instructions, the alignment is off and the parts are incompatible with this model. I was unable to securely mount it, making the product unusable for a Glock 23 Generation 4. Disappointing fitment and would not recommend for this firearm.

Received exactly what I ordered. Only thing is the item doesn't fit exactly like its marketed to. Will probably need to purchase a mount that is actually has the specs as advertised. Great price and delivery, but don't fit like it should. If the footprint at bottom of mount was just a tad bit wider it would be perfect and usable.

I ordered this to put on my EDC which is a S&W M&P Shield .40 After a couple tries I was able to locate the correct adapter. I removed my rear sight and installed this. Using a bore sight I sighted in the optic. It took a lot of adjustment to dial it in but finally was happy after about 20 minutes. Range day- first shot was dead accurate. Second shot low right by 2+ inches, third shot lower, and further right. Stopped firing. When back home used the bore sight again to confirm and it was way off. Readjusted, removed put into my box of worst case scenario accessories. Final thoughts....maybe great for a single shot scenario, possibly for a smaller caliber weapon with less recoil. Plan to give it another try on my .22lr to see if it behaves any better. Will update once complete.

Optic works as advertised, however I mounted it to a Glock 44. The polymer slide yields to the set screws. DO NOT USE THE OPTIC TO RACK A POLYMER SLIDE WITH THE DOVETAIL MOUNT. I had to make a shim to prevent the action of the slide dropping zero.
