Clover Stitching Tool Refill 1-Ply Needle, steel, Single

I needed this as my wire broke for punch needle work. This has been amazing and alot better than my original that I received from elsewhere.

Small for most Punch Needles

Quality Clover product as is usual With all Clover products. Robust item and not at all like the cheaper versions which are of poor quality plastic and metal.

Ideal when you get working but needle was too small so had to glue in lucky enough didn't get in barrel as the needle would of been useless but now I love it using it is a breeze

This is a needle-punching tool and comes with a 3 ply needle. 1 ply and 6 ply needles are available separately. I think it would have been nice to have had all three without having to order them separately. I tried it with Clover's 'Kantan Couture' gold thread that's designed for this tool, but think that the 1 ply needle would work better with this very fine thread. I got on much better with a thicker thread. A little bit of practice is needed to get even stitches but once you've got the hang of it you can work quite fast. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for back stitch since it can be a little wasteful at the back of the stitches. But for looped stitching it's pretty good, once you get the hang of it. I'm only giving it 3 stars because, as I said, I think they could have included at least one other needle size. Buying the other needles separately is a little expensive. I also found the threader to be a little too short - an extra centimetre would have made threading much easier. Do bear in mind that to secure the stitches permanently you have to put glue on the start and finish of your work, otherwise your stitches will unravel and all your hard work will be lost! Not for everyday embroidery but good if you want to needle-punch.

I used this to punchneedle with 4ply yarn and it works really well. I did try with DK yarn but found the yarn too thick. Really easy to use and comfortable to hold. Hope they bring out a bigger size.

The wire is quite short and broke after a couple of days using it. Quite disappointed with the product not worth it.

Have tried to find one of these for years,#. Still haven't had time to use it but I am sure it will work.

Es una aguja mágica muy buena. Reconozco que no es fácil de usar o al menos a mi no me resulta fácil. Pero es robusta y degran calidad como todos los productos de la marca Clover.

La compré porque me la recomendaron en un curso que tomé, pero no conocía de agujas mágicas, la verdad me ha gustado mucho ya que se me hizo fácil de usarla, bueno al principio como todos batallé en saber cómo bordar con aguja mágica, pero ahora que aprendí un poquito me ha Sido muy funcional, no se me ha roto y no creo que me pase, ya que es muy resistente, es delgadita como para usarla como Perle 8, 12 o hilazas, pero con 3 hilos a lo mucho. Por eso es que deja un bordado muy lindo y delicado. No podría comparar con otras, pero viendo que muchos mencionan que otras agujas mágicas de otras marcas se les rompen , pues creo que ha de ser buena, ya que a mí no se me rompió. Trae instructivo y súper bien explicado, viene en varios idiomas incluyendo español. Lo único es que el metal de la aguja de la parte de abajo se está como oxidado o decolorante, pero no me ha afectado nada en el uso.

Arrived on time as described in perfect condition. This is a great tool I have on hand I haven’t used it yet, but I’ve used them in the past and this one works exactly the same as the last one that I had so I’m pretty sure it’s gonna work well.

Petit outil précis qui se manie avec facilité quand on comprend le fonctionnement du punch needle. Permet d’utiliser des fils plus fins pour un travail plus délicat. Je suis ravie
