Replacing impeller on a Flojet 18555-000A. First of all, the rubber is a bit harder, AND it appears the new impeller is just a tad wider than the original. Either a couple gaskets need to be used, or take a small amount off (sanding) to make same width. I kept blowing fuses due to excessive drag. I have now made the new impeller exactly the same width as the old... It remains to be seen if the harder rubber puts too much of a drag (if I loosened the nuts, it would run, but of course leaked... tighten and you could hear the motor lug and fuse would blow. (waiting for new fuses to test)
