Perfect and easy to install. The height makes it easy to allow room for everyone to walk. The stakes are sturdy and the side pieces at the top allow the lights to hang perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. The poles are heavy duty and my husband found them easy to install with the help of a hammer (to pound into our ground) and level. So far, they look great and have already weathered a storm. We purchased a second set for aesthetics because our patio is curved but one set did sufficiently hold them.

I've been wanting to add festoon light strings to my patio for years but never found a system that didn't involve a lot of work getting the poles to be straight and stable. I was pleasantly impressed with this set however.1. The poles come in two 5' sections that lock together with a rotating cam making a very secure and solid 10' pole.2. Mount the lower half of the poles in the ground first. They have four long sharp prongs about 3/8" dia and another large spike in the center. I used a sledge hammer, tapping on the top of the spikes while holding a level to the poles to assure they were straight.3. Then using the mounted lower sections of the poles as a guide I laid my lights out getting them just where I wanted them between the poles and the eves of my house.4. Using the brackets atop the top half of the poles I attached the lights and inserted the top half of the poles over the lower half and twisted the top pole to secure the cam.5. That's it, in about 30 min it was done. The poles a rigid and secure, the lights are warm and beautiful and I especially like the REMOTE CONTROL that has four different brightness levels, on off switch, and even a timer to automatically shut off.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The media could not be loaded. Great quality. These have been able to withstand our crazy TN weather and have not budged since installing. Super easy to install. We did have to use a mallet and wood board to hammer them in since our ground was hard at the time but after a good rain we could have just used our foot. These poles were exactly what we needed to add lights around our pool. We spaced them out about 13 ft. We could have gone further apart if we didn’t order enough poles. They are tall enough to where you can easily walk under the lights and not have to duck, which I love.

I bought these to support string lights where I could not screw into a structure. One is being used to turn a corner and so far is not bending. I like the way the string is held in place. It allows for SOME in-line tensioning to lower sagging, but I would not suggest trying to make the lights not have any sag. Basic physics will dictate the poles would bend. My only issue was that the paint job was not so great. There is some rust within days at the tines part that you step on to sink into the ground. Some black spary paint took care of that. Make sure that you pay attention to the directions since the poles connect with only a partial counter-clockwise turn.

We purchased another brand that came in 5 pcs. Not sturdy at all and our landscaper said to return them. These are on a different level as they are 2 pcs and much stronger. We actually used a pipe cutter as we needed some to be the same height but they were in and elevated area and came out great!

This is a very well-built and very sturdy product. I purchased 4 sets to run around my backyard. Works well and provides needed light. I am very happy I purchased this brand.
