Bifen-IT will kill fleas too. Or using an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) will prevent fleas from growing and becoming sexually mature. This will break the cycle and they will be gone. There are roach killers and ant killers that have this IGR to kill bugs, but this same product at a lower rate is used in pet applications to kill fleas and ticks. Bifen-IT will kill pretty much any insect in the lawn, but I don't know if it will kill grubs or not. The bad thing about Bifen-IT is it will also kill honey bees, so I stopped spraying my entire lawn and just spray around my windows, and about 3 ft. up my walls and 5 ft. into my lawn, on my deck and around doors. When I do this it keeps 100% of the roaches away. I live near the woods, and if I don't put this down, I get roaches each spring and fall without fail. When I spray, I do not get any roaches.

Lowes has the same 20lb bag for $12.27. is there something special about this one?

It appears Amazon price is TWO ea 20lb bags for $25 Total ship wt 40ib. Where as Lowe's price is $13.98 for ONE 20lb bag... If I have this correct, Amazon has a better price currently 6/8/22

Do you water it in after spreading to kill grubs?

Yes I did water after I treated my Deodar Cedars, add about 1/2 inch of water (just guess) after you apply the product. My Cedars were looking thin...after I gave them a treatment they perked right up (3-6 days) also spray the tree's with water, this encourages the mites and other pests to "move on". I also treated my thinning pine trees (Stone Pines), with great results. (Also added Agroform tabs to the Pines & Ironite to Deodar's)..Rockin !!

Does this product kill spiders? I have wolf spiders, black widows and brown recluse spiders that seem to not be deterred by the liquid spray.

If you have pests in your yard, like cicadas, that you hate this is the perfect product to use. It will kill the live and dormant cicadas. If you're sick of this pest taking over your yard, trees and making their terrible mating sound you truly need this product. Last summer these monsters took over my trees and yard. They were everywhere. We spread this product last fall and again this spring and our yard is cicadas free. Plus this product kills other bugs that kills your other yard foliage.
