Instantly calmed
We brought this based on other reviews for our elderly jackie Missy who is 18 and displaying signs of doggie dementia; pacing around the house almost constantly until she is exhausted and sleeps for short intervals, panting and restless about 4-5 am, they arrived yesterday I gave 1/2 a tablet which I cut in 2 with a pill cutter so 2 x 1/4s and put in a chicken fridge raider bite, munched successfully and although it takes 2 weeks to build up in the system, I saw a definite improvement with regards to less pacing and more rest from the first dose. I already use senior dog Yumove for her and my other 15 yr old westie which certainly helps their mobility as they both have arthritis so I trust the brand. The second purpose for buying is for my 15yr old westie Bobby who is a rescue and cannot cope with getting claws clipped at the groomers, so will build up for 2 weeks then take him to get claws clipped as was unsuccessful last visit due to stress, the third use was for my 7 yr old toy fox terrier Bella who gets stressed out by Missy’s pacing, and staring, as Missy has limited vision due to cataracts and is deaf cannot read doggie communications which stresses out Bella as Missy gravitates towards Bella and stops her pacing only to stare at Bella almost nose to nose! So Judging by the results seen from 2 doses now for all dogs I have high hopes that Missy becomes more settled, Bobby can get nails clipped, and in Missy being calmer it can help Bella be more settled as less reactive to Missy as she does love her but cant cope with the staring lol. It is excellent value as using for all 3, and consider it an investment for all 3 dogs well being going forward. Happy dogs, happy owners, hopefully win win.

Worth trying
Why did you choose this product over others?: On balance, I think this helps . I used to give it to one of my dogs around firework night and NYE (starting a few weeks before) . I think it too the edge off her nervousness . Now she’s elderly, I give it to her every day . As I say, think it helps to calm her a bit

Stick with it worked for our Collie but took 6 weeks ...
Our vet recommended but did say it may take a little longer to work than some other prescription medication. The benefit of this product is that its natural, no nasties. Overall its a great product, we nearly gave up using it after a month but I'm so glad we didn't. It took 6 weeks before we saw a difference and now 3 months in our Collie is so much calmer. She doesn't like the tablet so we crush it up and put it in a small amount of pate, cream cheese or peanut butter. Its taking the edge off her reactiveness to noise, which was horrendous ! Every car door closing and knock at the door she would be up barking. Whilst she still does this sometimes it much more controllable. We didn't realise how much is was effecting us all. If it works for your dog its a god send but I guess it may not work for all dogs which is a shame as its expensive to try if it doesn't work. I waited till it was on an offer and now get it with money off every two months. We highly recommend giving it a go and are happy to have a calmer dog, but would not recommend if you need a quick fix for something like bonfire night, it may be better to get something else from your vet.

Results may be effective but giving them is difficult
As far as I can tell it seems to work in that my elderly Jack Russell hasn't had one of her 'panic attacks' since she's been taking them. She's started having these since her eyesight has got very poor (the vet can't find a medical cause of them) and I think they are a form of separation anxiety. But on the other hand, sometimes she would go for a couple of weeks between attacks so it might just be coincidence. The reason for the review is to say that although she is usually very good at taking any tablet, meat flavoured or not, for some reason she just does not like these. They are advertised as being 'tasty' but she won't take them voluntarily. The tablets are quite large, and for her size she is borderline half or one tablet, but they aren't scored and are very hard to break (I am now using a tablet cutter). The easiest way to give them to her would be crushed in her food, but because they are hard this isn't easy to do. They also don't soften left soaking in gravy which I thought might be one way to resolve the problem!

Doesn't work at all and I give 4x the dose to my dog - minus 5 (-5)
If I could I would give it minus 5 (-5) for this products. I had high hopes for this because I use the brand's yumega oil for my miniature pinscher. I have been using for 2 months now on 4 times the recommended dose for my dog's size. Doesn't work at all. In fact it's the opposite. Makes him urinate everywhere around the house and he is more aggressive. My vet said to discontinue and try a pheromone-based product like a collar or scent around the house from another company. Products like this one don't work with naturally stressed dogs, and in fact clinical trials of similar products have shown that calming tablets or products like this made of supplements (non-pheromone) do not show any significant results and are not consistent. Basically its a dud. Issues I had so far: - this is just a food supplement made of lemon balm and some other nonsense ingredients - only works on unstressed dogs who may have some mild anxiety. My dog is highly stressed, alert and very very anxious. If your dog is a stressed out breed like mine is then it doesn't work. The supplier fails to explain this in their literature and leaflets. It is false advertising on their part. - tables are very strange. They recommend for my dog's size I break the tablet in half and then break that half in two for twice a day. How am I going to do that whilst preserving the tablet dosage? You would think for the price they would give smaller tablets for small dogs, or a better tablets that is easier to break into 4 bits (even human tablets that are 5 times smaller than this can be broken into smaller parts. Nonsense. - I'm giving my dog 2 tablets a day when I should be giving half tablet a day. So four times the dosage and still dog is not any calmer than before, and quite the opposite to calm - more stressed out than before. - price is an extortion for what they promise. At least would be worth it if it worked on the dog. - taste and smell is unattractive for dogs. Basically smells like old tea and dog won't touch it unless I wrap ham around it. You would think they would add a meat or fish smell to it so dogs can eat it normally. Positives - can't think of any right now. I am absolutely disgusted by this company's false advertising. They should stick to things that work. I would recommend the supplier to act on the above issues. I asking for a refund now because suppliers use false advertising to sell a product that's essentially a tea in tablet form. I drink lemon balm tea every day and this was the case I can give lemon balm tea to my dog and save a fortune.

They worked!
Read the reviews & went for it, so pleased I did. My 3 year old Sproker is terrified of fireworks & sits & shakes - it’s pitiful! I started a week before Halloween to get them in his system. I was supposed to give him 2 but gave him 3 each teatime with his tea. He’s still scared but doesn’t shake anymore. I’ve just reordered ready for New Year.

Big difference
Bought these for my dog as we have a newborn and he was very nervous and excited when we first brought her home. Worked very well for the first few days, could see a huge difference! Not sure if they still have much of an effect, as he is more bouncy again, but don’t want to stop using them to find out! Overall I would recommend.
