Love these boards!
These cutting boards are top notch! They do scratch easily with very sharp knives. Need to be hand washed. The colors are beautiful and the different sizes they come with are worth the price!

Very Nice!
I use the grooved side for fruits and vegetables. I use the flat back for meats :D This wood is better on my knives than bamboo and the boards are really cool looking! I never wanted wood cutting boards because if them holding bacteria. I studied on their use and care. I keep a sponge that holds dish soap (I only use it to clean these.) in my drawer and bought oil for treating the wood. They get soapy washed, rinsed, dried and stored quite quickly. Also, love the different sizes.

Good but not great
We wanted to switch out our plastic cutting boards for wood, because, well, microplastics. We got these wood cutting boards, and I don’t know if I am missing something, but after the first use, there are a bunch of knife marks. It seems like there is something maybe coated on the wood cutting boards? I am not particularly satisfied with this purchase, but I guess it’s better than our old plastic cutting boards. The color is great, no werid chemical smell, and the sizes are great. I’ll do more research on how to possibly fix the knife marks.

THE Most Beautiful Wooden Cutting Boards - Unbelievable value!
Get rid of your plastic boards! These are THE most beautiful solid hard wood cutting boards I have ever seen! They are a lovely wood grain satin finish and have built in handles. They are the perfect set of 3 sizes from small, medium to one really large! Use warm water to rinse and then dry and use paper towel and olive oil to easily keep them as new. Unbelievable value!

They don’t last. Save your money.
I have to say disappointed is an understatement. I’ve had these for two weeks and they have not lasted. They are thick but cheap. The wood splinters and cracks after the first wash. They hold onto the smell of whatever you cut on the surface. They do not clean well at all. I had to throw them away and went back to a marble block. You cannot sanitize these.

Great boards, great price.
These are great teak cutting boards at an incredibly low price. I've been using them daily for two months now, and they are in excellent condition. I read both positive and negative reviews before making this purchase. In response to the negative reviews, never put any wooden cutting board in the dishwasher! The extreme heat and chemicals will destroy them. Proper care involves "seasoning" with mineral oil or beeswax, and after use, rinsing under running water. Never let them sit in water if possible; instead, use plastic. Teak was the material used for the landing decks of World War II aircraft carriers; it can withstand pounding and rinsing, but not submersion.

Adequate; Could be Better
Out of the box these are reasonably attractive boards - decently rich in color - but not in any way "self-healing". While oiling both improves color and obscures some marring, the cutting history of each board will remain always evident. The boards have finger grooves in the ends - which is a useful feature. The primary design defect (IMO) is that the routed "gutter" is only 5/16" wide so that if a crumb, skewer or similar small item rolls into it, it is too narrow to get anything but a baby's finger in there to get it out. It is also a challenge to get a sponge to the bottom of the groove. Consequently, unless you have a willing baby handy, one must pick up the board and turn it over and/or take it to the sink; you can't simply wipe bread crumbs off. Not a big deal - but an inconvenience with the larger board that would have been easily avoided in manufacture. I live in an apartment with a small kitchen; that extra physical activity is space and time consuming. The finish of the gutter is rough; these were mass produced without great care for the finish of the groove. (And, of course, one could turn the board over and cut on the flat side - forgoing the gutter entirely.) The gutter runs 360 degrees around the board so if you intend to sweep your cuttings into a dish or disposal, it is not as smooth or easy as it might otherwise be. There is no "off ramp". Finally, these are intended as cutting boards - not carving stations. So they might have been thinner to take up less space in the kitchen. I would not buy them again - although I have not yet experienced the odor or crackling finish others describe.

Despite washing these boards several times in hot soapy water and leaving them in the fresh air for a few hours, these cutting boards still have a strong, unpleasant smell. Wouldn’t recommend as I’m not happy with this purchase.
