Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar Shave Cream Tube 75gm

Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar shaving cream is very bold and strong scented. There are strong notes of cedar and sandalwood with jasmine and spices. I love this fragrance over the 1805, A pea sized amount gives a rich thick lather, which moisturizes wonderfully. Provides a great shave, no nicks, cuts, drag or razor burn. I found that the Trafalgar fragrance lasted many hours, much to my enjoyment. I used a Edwin Jagger DE89L razor, with Feather Hi Stainless Platinum Razor Blades.

Maybe I should of looked at the sizes properly but no problems at all with anything else 5* 100%

dont buy it and waste your money

Truefitt & Hill makes quality shaving products. Trafalgar is similar to 1805 in that it provides comfort to one's face/beard while shaving. The scent is very light--almost unnoticeable. Compact for travel needs.

This review is for Trafalgar. It’s a decent shave cream but a bit too expensive for the performance. To preface, I’ve been using an off-the-shelf cream and several boutique shaving soaps recently. While I expect good performance from those soaps, the cream I’m referring to can be found all over and it’s a really thick, cushiony experience for the price, which keeps your face well protected at an incredible value. Unfortunately, that cream is not Trafalgar by Truefitt & Hill. I don’t want to say this is a bad cream because it’s definitely a step above a regular shelf-brand cream in a can. However, a tub of this cream runs around $30 making it more expensive than my boutique soaps with incredible performance, post-shave nourishment, and scents. I do, though, appreciate Trafalgar as a scent. The best way I can explain it is that it is similar to a gin and tonic with a lime hanging on the rim. It’s floral and fresh with a citrus top note, complex, and just strong enough that it lasts through the morning. To summarize, Trafalgar is a decent performer with good scent though lacking a bit in cushion and post-shave nourishment. This product would earn another star if a tube of it were $10-15 instead of over $20.

There is a reason this has been a staple in shave dens forever. It lathers like a dream and creates a slick cushion of protection. Scents are subjective, but to me this one is very pleasant with a citrus base to it.
