I had a different version of this about a decade ago but lost the power cord. It took a strange voltage (14.4) that I was never able to find again and subsequently ended up in the trash. I was always sad about that because I think the floating globes are really cool.Fast forward to now- I stumbled on this and decided to give it a shot. I was a little worried that in real life it wouldn't look as nice but I was wrong. Looks really cool, lights are a really nice accent. The globe spins at a great pace all the time. Perfect for my son's room. Not to mention way less expensive than my original one from forever ago! I'm very happy.

i love this globe. it spins for days on end.EDIT: it stopped spinning when the power went out, but the globe didnt fall, it stuck to the magnet on the top. the other time it went out was when the cat just couldnt leave it alone.still love it

I teach science and bought this little gem for a desk decoration. My students are so intrigued at how it works and the lights are a cool touch to an already fun item! Recommend to any science teacher or science nerd like myself.

A decor next where I am sit in office, the spinning, floating globe is quite mesmerizing at times.Some movement in the office space makes the place more lively. The globe is monochrome, in black background color and it goes well with the backlit blue color.When power goes off, the globe will not eject itself onto the floor, the magnetic will pull it up to the top of the arch. This is a great design.
