I am absolutely thrilled with my bench! It is just what I wanted, a high quality durable heavy bench. I'd seen so many cheap and flimsy benches in the shops with rubbish joints that work loose. I was looking for something that would stand the test of time, the sort of quality you'd find in a bench in the park. This bench is just that.The wood is very thick and well put together with no wobbles. It is a hefty bench and once in place it stays there.It is a strong bench and looks great.Minor criticisms.Water does tend to sit in the arms as they are concave, but no problems have arisen from this as yet.I did notice some blackness in the joint at the bottom of the vertical bars at the back, after significant amounts of rain. I contacted the supplier (with photos) and they kindly took the bench away and put a little filler in there to prevent water ingress. I was extremely impressed they did this without any quibbles.I feel this bench is most definitely worth the money, it is value for money for the service and the very high quality.Just make sure you properly protect the bench with the necessary weather resistant products.So pleased with this purchase!

Great construction, all joints dowelled for extra strength, great quality timber used throughout. Could sit for hours and not feel any discomfort. A perfect addition to any garden, taken care of, you will never need to replace it. Speedy delivery by very courteous driver. Highly recommended company would buy from again.

I got this beautiful bench for my retirement, putting money towards it from a collection I received from work colleagues. This one was a little more expensive than others I was considering but it just looked so good and so solid and the reviews were exceptional. The bench was received within 3 days and was, as promised, fully assembled. After leaving the bench in the garden for a week I treat it with the recommended Jati teak protector which was really easy. The bench now looks and feels gorgeous. My only concern, and this has been mentioned in an earlier review (2009) is the small collection of rainwater in the recess on each arm of the bench - I hope that this will not have a detrimental affect on its appearance in the future. I do intend to regularly treat the wood with the Jati teak protector but I would be interested to receive a response from the manufacturer and whether they have had any issues with this in the past.

The bench itself is of very good quality and is very securely built. The delivery was smooth and the delivery driver was excellent in helping move the bench to the desired location. All around very good buy and well worth the money

Excellent service from Jati. Arrived earlier than expected and delivered by a very helpful and friendly guy. The bench fits perfectly on our patio and looks lovely. Would certainly recommend this bench for comfort and looks also for its extra strong frame. Many thanks.

I am very pleased with this bench. It arrived on a prearranged day, which I felt was very good service. The delivery man helped me carry the preassembled bench into the garden. My only comment would be that the bench is not treated, but then again perhaps teak should be left to weather? I wanted a solid and well built bench that would last years (as long as it is looked after) This bench ticks all those boxes - best of all there is no self assembly and all the timbers are jointed. Really comfortable to sit in too. The delivery was managed very well too. Very happy and would definitely recommend

I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Customer Service kept me informed inc an informative leaflet re care of the product; delivery to my isolated location in extreme wintry conditions was early and the bench itself surpassed all my expectations. The fabulous sustainable teak bench is traditionally constructed and comes ready assembled without a screw in sight making my decision to order from Jati well worth it.Even top quality self assemly benches look like matchsticks comared to the Gladstone. As a memorial bench for my beloved dog, Ginny, it now sits in the shadow of the local church on the village green. Walkers and villagers fight to sit on it and all are mighty impressed. Thanks Jati.
