Easy to install, and raised my chair back to the height I needed before my air cushion, adjustable height chair gave out. It was a cheap and easy repair.

I loved that I was able to find these! My chair had been sinking for the longest time and these did the trick. Really easy to install too. I've been using it for about 5 or 6 months and no issues.

A bit pricy, but it works and was pretty easy to install.

I used all three on one chair---one on top of the other---to keep the chair relatively high even if they started to slip a bit with time. In the past, I ran a long screw through the shaft at the height I wanted to maintain, but it weakened the shaft. This was not an expensive fix, and it won't damage the shaft. So far no slippage---despite the fact that I throw myself into the chair once in awhile.

It a bad design, slips, no matter if I put all three, it still slips.

Works great! Not so easy to install. Though when installed it feels really stable. This gadget has real value since it can prolong my existing chair. However, when using it on a pneumatic height chair you lose the shock absorption ability therefore it is not adjustable.

These chair cylinder shaft clamps are great items. At church, we have three high-back swivel chairs in the sound room. The lift cylinders in all of them have gone bad. These clamps fixed them all. There is no sinking and no slippage. And recently, the cylinder went out on my wife's office chair at work. I got a second package of these clamps and fixed it as well.Here's the deal. Most people don't need to adjust their office chair more than once. So losing the quick up and down adjustment is no big deal. Plus, replacing cylinders can be extremely difficult on some chairs without damaging the base. And for certain chairs, the cylinders are very expensive. These clamps are a quick fix that seem to satisfy most users. I'm keeping some spares on hand from now on. They are that useful. All five stars from me.
