What can you say in a review about a chain? This chain is great, like the Swiss Army knife of chains; you’ll start looking for things to strap it to. Need to secure the lawnmower? Done. Thinking about chaining your bins to the fence before your neighbour “borrows” them again? Sorted. Tie down your ego before it floats off. Simples. This chain does it all: Build a zipline for your cat, Secure your dignity after a bad Tinder date, Protect your lunch from sneaky co-workers, Make a swing for your pet elephant? test a chain reaction? All easily doable with this chain. This is the only chain you don't mind in your house move. With this bad boy, you’ll be strapping down everything in sight—ladders, wheelbarrows, even your partner during intimate relations. At a 250kg load limit, you could easily chain up a small rhino without breaking a sweat, though I couldn't properly test this because rhinos seem really hard to come by these days. Sorry guys. I don’t know who welded the links, but they’re tighter than a round at the pub when it’s your mate’s turn to buy, you know who I mean! I only give it 4.5 stars because I couldn't figure out how to tie it to my shadow to keep me grounded and my pie in the sky has now floated away.

Chain and padlock purchased cause my bench kept getting moved in our communal garden. Chained to drainpipe now so very secure. Chain is slightly longer than I needed but that’s not a problem

It’s described as 6mm, though my measurements showed around 5.76mm on the bare steel, with the welds adding close to a millimetre at points. Each link is just under 45mm long and about 25mm wide. The zinc plating gives it a bright, even finish, and I couldn’t find any sharp edges or loose metal. The overall appearance is tidy and consistent, and it feels solid in the hand. 🔗 The welding provides strength but also makes the chain slightly more rigid than others I’ve used. It doesn’t flow as freely, which might matter if you need the chain to pass smoothly into a hopper or guide. I’ve been cutting the chain into smaller sections, and it strikes a good balance—strong enough to hold weight, yet still easy to cut with suitable tools. The links connect easily to standard carabiners, so it’s been straightforward to incorporate into my use case. For the price, I think it’s decent value. The finish should hold up well indoors or under cover, though like most mild steel, I wouldn’t expect it to resist rust indefinitely if left out in the weather. ✔️
