This comforter looks great and is well constructed too. Sewn to hold loft/filling & washes beautifully in a good home washing machine. Marimekko is tried & true!

Pros: This item feels like an over-sided, overstuffed comforter. It is large, fluffy, soft and very warm Nice dark blue background and clean white circle pattern Even after a year it still looks new Cons: it is too BIG to fit into our over-sided front load washing machine. While the fabric is nice, it is noisy when you move. I've had for almost a year now and it is finally getting quiet. This is a great winter comforter

This set is bold, bright, and incredibly fun. Marimekko prints are classic and cool, and this bright poppy print makes for a really great statement bedding set. I find that it pairs best with navy blue sheets; white is okay as well, but navy really makes the red pop. The comforter is cozy enough for all seasons (in climates that have those), and while I'd turn it down in the summertime, it's not uncomortable. I'm terrified to clean this myself because I'd be upset if I wrecked the color/pattern, so I send this out for cleaning.

Looks great, very warm, not for year around use

I just got this comforter set last week, it was so nice, just like in the photos online. Then, I got pink eye, I had to wash all my bedding and I followed the directions that were included and I have access to commercial size washers and dryers here in my apartment complex. When I took the comforter out of the dryer, I could feel that the foam had completely broken down into clumps and since there was no additional stiching to keep it in place, contrary to the sales information on the sales sight and just as bad, when I laid it back on my bed, the coverage was gone, at least 4 inches had shrunk all the way around. I now have an ugly short lumpy comforter that looks years old instead of brand new. I guess I should say at least it's clean. I'm so disappointed in Marimekko. I own many of their products including ten duvet covers but because of age and back issues I can't use them any more and why I was thrilled to find another comforter set. I have an email into Marimekko. I'm hoping they will take this back, at their cost so they see this for themselves and give me money back. Why should I pay for this. I could have gotten a $29 bed in a bag that might have at least lasted a month. Don't waste your money!

If you’re a hot sleeper this isn’t for you. It’s pretty thick. Beautiful pattern. Bright and vibrant. I bought Indio blue.
