I bought this for me and my 11yo for Christmas as we are both Tetris fans.The gaming board itself is easy to fit together but once it's built there isn't a way to take it apart meaning it doesn't really fit back in the box.The base unit has a digital display for different modes and shows you which piece to play on your turn which we liked as it made it more like the real game. The timer works like a chess clock in that you have to hit the button when your done to pass over to your opponent.Once you've played your piece you have to score yourself before passing, this gets a bit confusing as you add points for connecting colours and rows but minus points cancel these out for any holes you've left. I would've preferred an automatic scoring system to avoid confusion and so many times we've excitedly passed to the other player then realised we forgot to score ourselves!As the board struggles to go back in the box I would've liked an onboard storage compartment for the pieces to keep everything together. Ours are stored in an old sandwich tub!Overall, the game is good fun for Tetris fans but the self scoring and set up leaves room for improvement. It's worth the £15 I paid but im not sure I'd pay full price.

We got this game very cheap and, so, we bought a few to use gifts. It's not easy to understand at all. But, we made own rules as we went! It kind of made it more fun.We've given 5 stars only because we got the games so cheap at under £10. Otherwise we'd have given less stars because it was so awkward to understand.

Looks good but the wrong number of pieces turned up on the blue so can’t play

Bought this as a bit of gimmick gift for Christmas and it ended up being one of the most played-with toys. We still play it now, months later. Great for kids from 5 up and adults too. Easy to use, good light and sound effects and teaches children about shapes too. Well exceeded my expectations. You can even buy spare pieces off the website for a reasonable amount if you lose any.

As a massive Tetris fan myself and so is my sister this was the perfect birthday present. We’ve had hours of fun playing with this and with two game modes the competition can get quite heated. It is really easy to post the little pieces so make sure you put them in a sandwich bag or something.

It's alright, it does what it says on the box. However they're so many steps and the instructions are so long winded you almost want to give up before even playing. I believe the brainboxes behind this idea lost a lot of support when finalising this product. It took a lot to make it in 3D form to the point I think they should have dropped the idea. But they saw it through and it's a 5/10 for me. After the long winded set up plus the rules when playing it just average.
