Beautiful, Elegant and Magical
I first saw one of these MOVA globes at the Kennedy Space Center and was absolutely mesmerised by how effortlessly it rotates — it looks like something straight out of a sci-fi film. I promised myself I’d wait for the Black Friday sales before taking the plunge, and I’m so glad I did, because bringing one home has been nothing short of magical. Yes, it’s definitely an investment, but the quality is exceptional and it feels every bit as premium as you’d hope. The detail on the Satellite View model is stunning, and there’s something incredibly calming about watching it slowly spin with no visible mechanism. It still amazes me how it manages to work even in very low light; it seems to draw in the faintest bit of ambient light and just… comes alive. Since we’ve had it, it has become a genuine talking point. Every visitor gravitates toward it (pun fully intended) and ends up asking how on earth it works. It’s one of those rare pieces that is both beautiful and intriguing — part décor, part science, and entirely mesmerising. If you’ve been eyeing up a MOVA globe or debating whether it’s worth it, I can confidently say it absolutely is. It’s elegant, engineered brilliantly, and brings a little wonder into the room every single day.

Mesmerising to watch — like functional art for your desk
This globe is honestly beautiful. It spins silently using just ambient light and magnetism, no wires, no noise — just a clean, continuous motion. Feels like it’s floating, and guests always ask what it is. The detail on the globe itself is crisp, especially the cloud layer — looks almost satellite-real. It’s subtle enough to fit into a modern setup but interesting enough to stand out. It’s definitely a premium item, but the build and presentation reflect that. Feels like the kind of object you keep for years. Great gift, but also just a great desk piece.

lovely
seems a tad expensive, but it's beautifully made and works well in a subdued light.

FANASTIC - with a bit of useful advice.
I absolutely love this globe. It looks stunning. Immense quality too and very well packaged. A bit of advice, do not place it on a window sill above a radiator as this will interfere with the magnetic field and may interfere with rotation. It took me two long zoom calls to work this out!

Unique. Eye-Catching. Highly Recommended.
This is simply a superb product. It is wonderful to look at and very decorative. The clever technology that makes it work is fascinating and interesting to understand.

A fantastic centre piece, but at a price.
Love this globe, but to be honest, I feel it is a bit heavily priced. Anyhow, I treated myself and now my constellation class star ship orbits it, so to speak. If it were about 30% cheaper, I would buy another one with a different planet, but not at this price point. When it arrived, I took it out the box, but it initially refused to rotate, then after a few minutes, it did start to operate. Been ok since. My guess is that during transit, the oils are stirred up and not coherent, but after allowing to settle for a few minutes, everything seemed fine. So my advice is not to panic and let it stand after transport and unpacking for a bit.

Just an expensive ornament but it fascinates me. I’m really happy I bought one.
It does nothing but sit on a table and spin but I’m fascinated by it. I first saw one of these about two years ago and thought I want one. So finally I got one and although I’m not somebody who tends to like ornaments I really like these MOVA Globes. It’s really relaxing just watching it spin. Be warned though they are heavier than you think and they do need to be placed a well lit area for it to spin. Before buying make sure you select the globe you want in the size you want as the selection is quite extensive from different versions of earth to other planets and moons. The one I bought is a 6” cloud covered earth. Would I buy another? Yes maybe the earth at night version.

Beautiful
Bought as a gift. I was skeptical as I thought it would look cheap but I must admit it's a beautiful globe and definitely not cheap
