Abbey Aluminium Platform Step Ladder 7 Tread

Purchased this 7 step ladder so I could safely clean my caravan roof. On unwrapping ladder I found very razor sharp edges on the ally step ends that would easily cut into anyones hands, and also on the support arm under the top platform. I used a swiss file to get rid of these. A couple of pop rivets are not holding a step fully in position, and the pop rivets used to secure the safety straps are not central to the frame leg. Medium quality product.

Bought these to replace an old set of cheaper, slightly smaller ladders.A great buy - I have higher than normal ceilings as live in a barn they do the job brilliant.Sturdy and good quality too.Would recommend.

We needed some step ladders for my Dads loft, as it was getting too hard for him to climb up his usual ladder. These are perfect, a real good angle and a nice sturdy top. We opted for the aluminium ones, as they are lighter and therefore easier to store away.If you are after a no frills set of step ladders then these are for you.

A solid ladder that does everything you would expect a ladder to do. Minor personal concern is that the safety rail is far higher that I find practical. It makes what is a light and sturdy ladder quite unwieldy in an interior environmental.

Great and solid product, easy to assemble and folding back quick. I have used it for painting and accessing the loft. Save to use specially with a very handy platform in the middle. Highly recommended it.

Be careful what you wish for. They reach the loft opening but are obviously very tall to store. The plastic on the side of the metal steps is sharp in some places and breaks easily.
