Tactics Ogre: Reborn for Nintendo Switch

Q: Is this just an up-scaling of the vita port? if not, what are the differences?

I wrote a review but to sum up some differences, the switch version of ogre battle: 1) Lacks the rogue class being playable and many classes get adjustments, like warrior/archer getting nerfed. I believe fusilier got buffed (they're not as slow, and lobber is overpowered with a few hundred consistent bomb damage tied to weapon level) but you get it near the end of the game, so that may be a hassle. 2) Party union level lets you change jobs so you don't have to level up if you used the same weapon. However, it gets locked end game (raising 3-5 battles before that 12 battle marathon) and a lot of times so you won't be leveling a lot unless you want a new recruit. There are also experience charms for leftover experience (but no weapon charms if you want to shift weapons). 3) There is fast forwarding and voice acting. I do not known if the psp let you use analogs to control, but this only lets you use the dpad rather than the analog or touch pad. 4) I do not know how the PSP AI is, but this version is very wonky, always charging to get killed even if unarmed, though it is both enemy and AI. 5) There is training (even if you lose or retreat, this helps get weapon levels if you need to switch). As there is no death penalty here, AI helps streamline this. 6) There are no random battles. 7) I don't know if this is in the PSP but there is a wonky anchor point system after beating the game that takes you "back in time" but you will still have to redo battles where you make choices (Katiua's fate or Law/Neutral/Chaos path); it doesn’t rewind you to the cutscene. There is also a soundtrack and you have passive abilities. 8) Crafting is 100% successful so you can flip baldur blowguns for 4000 goth profit every time. I hope this helps.
