I recently purchased the Dr. Martens Unisex-Adult Jesy 6 Tie Boots, and I am absolutely delighted with my decision! I have always wanted a pair! I live in Florida so when the opportunity came for me to go to DC in the winter, I just knew I had to have them! These boots are both stylish and comfortable.First and foremost, the classic Dr. Martens aesthetic is on full display with the Jesy boots. The iconic yellow stitching and chunky sole not only add a touch of edgy style but also ensure that these boots pair well with a variety of outfits, from casual jeans to more dressed-up looks. I’ve worn them on long walks and have found them to be super comfortable right out of the box—no painful breaking-in period! Much better than I expected from the brand. Always known for high quality, they did not disappoint! Fantastic boot, soft leather, comfy, flared heel is perfect. These were a gift to a 14 year old. It sure made her happy... I think her mom was probably a bit jealous! Her first pair of Doc Marten's... that's kind of special. The challenge now? Trying to get her to take them off!

Size doooooown, I am 5'4", I usually wear 7.5-8's. Only options are whole sizes, strangely. So, like previous reviewers, size down from your normal. They're still a bit big for 7's but I can now walk and stand comfortably without jamming my toes *ouch

Sad that there’s no half sizes because I think an 8.5 would be perfect. The nine is a little big for me but I love them. So cute and well made! I dressed them up a bit with a blazer for my office job and got lots of compliments! I love that they’re so versatile

They fit true to size and they are nice looking but I can’t even walk in them they are so uncomfortable. I have 4 sets of arch supports. Even using my strongest (usually needed for high heels) supports the heel is so steep and clunky that it makes me walk funny and still hurts. They’re impractical and definitely a “fashion” boot as you aren’t going to be doing much walking around on your tiptoes. Usually love Martens but these are not something you could work a shift in and definitely not boots you could get your moneys worth. I have to return them despite them fitting perfectly they are impractical and sort of disappointing. I expect quality from this brand, meaning practical, well made and made for the working class. This is simply a fashion boot, it is well made but not practical. Disappointed. This brand used to be a working class brand. Any of their boots could be worn for anything from light work to heavy work. Now they sort of cater to what’s fashionable. I used to always be able to trust this brand to be something useful, practical and good looking. Guess the “trend” of docs has them making fashion boots now. Weak AF.
