Bought as a gift for a 8 year old who loves Harry Potter. She freaked !! It encourages to write and it’s not just another toy. Hopfully it will stick with her for a long time.

(Review by my 11 year old)It is really good quality for not being a very high price. It has plenty of pages and the lines are small so you can write lots of words in it. The lock and key are very useable. The key turns in the lock incredibly easily. And it comes with two keys so you can't lose it. Well, you can but you have another one if you do. It's a very nice size if you want not a big book but also not a super tiny one. The invisible ink pen is great, although it does fade over time.

I got this as a gift and she absolutely loved it. This is for sure good for Harry Potter fans as well.

My girl is a fan of Harry Potter. This was a great gift. It actually writes in invisible ink which is only visible with the special light.

My 9 year old Harry Potter fan bought this for herself with birthday money. She is thrilled with it. It's well made and she has no complaints!

Gave five of these out at Christmas to my grandchildren ages 6 through 8. The book is well-made the invisible ink/pen works perfectly and the whole “lock up your diary “ concept was intriguing to them. However, at this young age with no real exposure to Harry Potter, and not much in the way of writing skills nor journaling, I think this is a gift suitable for a much older child who is much more into Harry Potter.

Got this for my DIL who is 100% HP crazy. She literally lives this diary/journal so much! She is an active writer and was looking for the perfect journal. We found it! She absolutely loves the invisible ink pen with the light and also that the journal comes with a lock and keys. Perfect gift!
