The weight is heavy. Got a gold pen to match the coloring. Happy with its performance as it’s durable and stable.

Most metal clipboards are aluminum and magnets won’t stick to them but this one is perfect. Clip my patterns to it and have a long thin magnet to keep track of where I am. Might need a second since I usually have two projects going.

Exactly what I needed! Holds everything intact and does not break unlike most clipboards haha The gold sure is shiny but it does not look cheap either. Worth the pennies

Nice golden color but if you are outside on a sunny day it is blinding. Not a problem since I have paper on it. Also I got it for its ability to take magnets and the magnets scratches the finish so I don’t expect it to stay ‘pretty’. I like its solidity and the hook. Could do without the shiny color but it was the cheapest magnetic option.

The steel material gives the writing surface a lot of inertia. However it is heavy, for a clip board. It is more durable than the aluminum type. The back side of mine arrived scratched :( The price is fair. A clear polished version would be a good product.

Works well for my needs. I needed a metal clipboard to use for my cross stitch pattern so I can use my magnetic line magnifier with it and this works perfectly.
