Can sleep at night knowing I have this gas cap on my truck
Bought this because we have an older diesel truck that someone was able to siphon our gas from, keys work great, the cap fits great, easy to unlock and lock again, and our hard earned money for diesel will never be stolen again! Overall very easy to use.

Turn til it clicks on the truck then it frees up and spins.
Works Great. Actually a bit more quality for the price I thought I was going to get. Once in the locked position, put it on the car or truck. Tighten it til it clicks. At that point it frees up in reverse and will just spin and not unscrew.

Very cheap quality.
Cheap . Plastic. Broke before even used 1x. I HOPE, nothing fell into my actual tank when the whole locking mechanism just broke trying to turn the key the first time to lock it…

Works how it should, feels like it’s good quality. Lock works but will get water in it and freeze if you use it on top of a slip tank.

If I could give these a worse rating I would. These are garbage and that's right where they went. Both unlocked 1 time only and then the second time I attempted to unlock them they would not unlock. I had to break them both off with channel locks to remove them.

It’s not the highest quality product but appears to work. At this time I’ve only driven approximately 60 miles with the lock cap installed so my major concerns are if I should get any EVAP engine codes the first order of business would be to re-install the OEM fuel cap. The other concern is if the locking mechanism should fail and you are in a position where you cannot remove the cap which I guess that could happen as it could with the OEM cap as well. So, before I installed the locking cap I lubricated the lock mechanism liberally with graphite spray and cycled the lock numerous times. Should I have any issues I will update this review. Yes, I would recommend this product but just remember, “Locks only keep the Honest People Out…”
