I purchased this to pull a 12v line off my daughter's 24v Razor Pocket Mod in order to add CREE LEDs, some RGB lighting and a battery gauge. This worked absolutely perfectly. Installation is very straight forward. To be clear, prior to purchasing this device I had never known this product existed. I had never installed one before. Installation is super straightforward, you have a 2 positive and 2 negatives wires arranged in: 2 (- and +) wires go to your battery and: 2 (- and +) wires go to the device you are powering. Mild gripe...there are no indicator lights to confirm if you did it right or wrong so you will just have to cross your fingers on your first whiz-bang and hope nothing smokes. For my application this unit never gets hot, however this might not be the same case for all applications. I am simply drawing very little power through this. UPDATE: It has been over 6 months and this is still working perfectly with daily use. Great product!

I tested this out in my M35A2C (24 volt system) I am going to final install this summer, so that I can have 12-Volt accessories in the cab. saved me from splitting off my dual batteries, not a good idea to split these on a dual battery system. I will revisit if it doesn't live up to expectations.

Tried to tie this into a new 48v LiFe battery for my golf cart. New battery works great with everything except this voltage converter. It arcs and pops the circuit every time it is connected. *****updated review***** The merchant reached out directly to me to address my concerns ,which was completely unexpected but highly appreciated!! Turns out my 48v LiFePo4 battery was running at 53-54 volts, which while normal for the battery, is a bit too high for this converter. Not a fault of the converter as it is advertised as 48v to 12v. I just didn't think about the few extra volts from battery being an issue. Merchant was able to work out a fair resolution and I will be happy to order from them again in the future!!

Wired in as instructed. First one failed after a month or so. Second one is working...for now. Updated rating to 5 stars because they're customer care is excellent and they stand by they're product. Seller promptly responded with help and refunded us despite being out of return window.

Item did not produce 24 volts in my initial purchase or the replacement item. Customer service is a single person answering a phone from the Philipeans (sp).

My order arrived on time without much fanfare but here nonetheless. Out the box it's ready to wire up. I already had one before (so this is a reorder because i KNEW it would function without any issues) I highly recommend this if anyone is looking for a step down transformer. Im NOT a paid reviewer. Just some overly good looking guy in NM with a 28 volt solar panel trying to run some 12 v fans in a shed. Quality 👍🏼 Power👍🏼 Voltage 👍🏼 appearance 👍🏼 I have it open air, however im not concerned as it has cooling fins.

I changed all my 48v lights on a club cart to a 12v led system. Their was plenty amps available to charge 2 cell phones using a 12v cig lighter outlet. Unit comes with 2 mounting holes that work ok but wires do not have any terminals to connect to. Drag out wire strippers and heat wrap. And the price was right.
