How many hangers do you get.

I ordered 2 x packs of 20 so received 40 as advertised. Excellent hangers.

Is the hanging part in the middle of the hanger? In other words, it is 38 cm wide so is the hanging piece placed approx 16 cm from edges or further?

Well, the ones I have are about 35cm wide, not 38cm, and the centre of the hanging loop is definitely not in the centre of the bar - it is about 20cm from the open end, 15cm from the closed end. They do however hang level, which I assume is because most trouser legs at the knee are less than 35cm wide. Incidentally 16cm from the edge would not be in the centre for 38cm wide - that would be 19cm.

Are these hangers suitable for heavier jeans or just trousers

I have a pair of Wrangler jeans hanging on these hangers. They are quite sturdy and as I recall made from 5mm steel rod that is a bit thicker than some cheaper makes of similarly styled hangers.

Do the hooks rotate (i.e. separate to the main hanger)? The pictures suggest that the open end will point away from the user.

Hi Dickie, The hook does not rotate (the hanger is manufactured from a solid rod of steel). I hook the hanger with the open end facing me. The top of my rail is 32mm from the shelf above and I raise the open end slightly to hang on the rail. The trousers do not slip off either sideways or forward. If you see the trousers you want to wear it is easy to lift them off the hanger, leaving the empty hanger in place. I recommend these hangers. I hope this helps.

Best pant hangers
